One of the biggest goals of mine as a parent is to teach my children that they are the creators of their own reality.
I want them to know that they are incredibly powerful beings and if they can dream it, they can achieve it 💜
We are multi-dimensional beings having a human experience... How amazing is that? 🦋
Maple Syrup, Cinnamon Play Dough 🍂 we have been experiencing a bit of cabin fever with all the smoke in the air, so in an effort to engage the littles we made this super delicious and easy play dough recipe that is right in alignment with the holiday vibes! And when I say *delicious* I just mean it smells yummy ☺️ wouldn’t taste good, although it is made with all organic food products so it’s super safe for the tiniest ones too! 🍁
•1 tablespoon Maple Syrup
•2 cups plain (all purpose) flour
•1/2 cup salt
•2 tablespoons any oil
•2 tablespoons cream of Tartar
•3 tablespoons cinnamon
•1 cup boiling water
Combine the dry ingredients in a large bowl. Next add the water, oil and maple syrup and mix 🍁
Saw the recipe on the @imaginationtree blog 🍁

Welcome to all our new curious followers!
I’m Kerri-Ann the designer and founder, I’m going to share with you the story behind Coddi & Womple.
Let’s take it back to my childhood, with my love for colour (that BRIGHT orange fluffy rug I held onto for years) and our families land my little barefeet wandered along to get swept away in peace.
I have always been drawn to bright colours and never really ‘fitted in’ for I was living in a constant state of dream...I’m still here 💭
The early days of raising my first born son is where my love for bright, unisex kids clothes was born. The grey walls that greeted me in mainstream stores just didn’t fit with our way of life. The monsters and trucks covered grey and black was NOT my little boy at all.
He wanted galloping horses and hungry bulls, tractors in the meadow and bugs of all sorts.
He wanted curious things in the colours he sees every day to point to and ask for ‘My bee top Mum’. It was here that I discovered another baby boy in bright clothes and the doors to scandi heaven swung open and I fell into an ever winding rabbit hole where my thoughts on gender and clothing were constantly behind challenged.
I learnt that butterflys, trucks and flowers exist in the same world boys and girls do.
So why are we only offered a wall of pink or grey for our children?
All children need to have exposure to these equally - flowers and the fierce beasts for boys and girls.
But most importantly? Magic, Fun!
Now, my second son is born. And a challenge set upon us. Rash upon rash spread across his body and we were passed to gp, to specialist, to naturopath with no real answers. Organic cotton was the only fabric his skin could bear.
It was time to create what I was born to do.
I went back to the dreaming barefooted wandering little girl, who grew to become a mother to curious little boys with sensitive skin and make something magnificent.
And Coddi & Womple was brought to life.
We make curious playwear for Coddiwomplers.
We are gentle. organic. fair. bright. innocent. curious. playful.
We are here to hold onto the fleeting
magic of childhood.

Welcome to Cafe Sand! Today the sandpit was a very busy cafe! There were waiters, waitresses, chefs and customers! Balancing the serving plates was tricky with all those cups of sand lattes ☕

L👀K OUT, Blue Bottles about!!! There's nothing like a 'welcome back' to the East Coast waves than a sting from one of these little blue aliens!!! ...well, actually 2 stings 🤪😖! BOTH of our mini Blondies were screaming in pain yesterday when the afternoon swell brought in a few of these bad boyz. I just love the look of them but they do give a nasty sting. Treatment is to run the sting under hot water for at least 20mins... as opposed to using vinegar or peeing on it 😂🙈. Both kiddies are fine now and were such little brave legends and us big blondies had a great workout running up the beach on the hot sand carrying a screaming kid each 👊💪💙💙. Have you been stung?

Micro-Hiking: Get Down Close and Observe
spontaneously happening of late.
Moments of tiny and slow, epic battles witnessed, shows of strength and persistence, similarities and differences noticed and many, many 'I wonder...' questions being posed - some answered, others not...
Sitting or squatting close to the earth, breathing is slowed, mind is centred, eyes are focused. This is Meditation as Micro-Hike. A kind of Trataka in Nature - Trataka being a meditation technique which involves focusing the eyes (and, in turn, the mind) through intent but relaxed gazing at an external point (like a candle, or a caterpillar, in this case!)
Fun nature exploring for school today! 🌿🐢 Homeschooling has been the best decision I’ve made in my entire life. I love getting to be with my babies everyday and experiencing them learn and grow. No walls. No desks. No pressure. No standardized tests. No living up to the governments standards for where they think our children should be on a scale. Just real life, real experiences, and no boundaries on what they can and can’t learn.
There is so much to discover for November's park of the month at Adelaide International Bird Sanctuary - Winaityinaityi Pangkara.

I've been wrapping my presents like this for years now. Everyone knows which are my gifts and I just adore how pretty they look. I recycle the ribbon every year and throw the nature into the garden when I'm finished with it. If you'll be running out of nature to use because of winter approaching, collect it now and store them away ready for Christmas. 😗🍃 #ecochristmas#giftwrapping#greenchristmas
I was so happy to find out recently that there's a home ed forest group not too far from us 🙏 we had a such a blast playing in the woods with other families today, making lanterns for when it got dark and keeping cosy round the fire pit 🔥
Patch presentation day and another season of creative play down in the books . Our primary skill nurtured this season was FOCUS. Our explorers activated all the senses to capture their attention and it was a treasure to see them practicing this necessary skill all season long. My heart is full of gratitude for the friendships made.
We put the finishing touches on the new Robinia Playground at Kopje Regional Park in Lake Country. It fits in beautifully with the surrounding landscape. The kids are going to have a blast! #rdco.cord #natureplay#robiniaplaygrounds
Always an adventure with you ⛰✨🌿
We just got a whole heap of the most beautiful photos sent to us from our weekend away at Dragon Dreaming a few weeks ago. Such cherished moments on very special land 🙏 Can’t wait to share more of our adventures from the weekend!
X is for Xylophone. With limited ‘x’ words, this one had to be used! This xylophone is made by putting together sticks and seed pods with some wood glue. The ‘hitting stick’ (please tell me if you know the technical term 😂) was made from a stick with a bead on the end. I bet there is a whole bunch of musical instruments that could be created from nature! #thenatureabc
