The III MEF Band is filled with many talented musicians. Above is a video of Sergeant William Thayer performing an excerpt from eden ahbez's classic song "Nature Boy," with piano accompaniment provided by Sergeant Victor Iannelli. The song was written in 1947 during a period in which ahbez, who emphasized the lowercase spelling of his name, dwelled in a cave near Palm Springs, CA. "Nature Boy" was first recorded by Nat King Cole and launched his successful solo career. As a vocalist in the III MEF Band's Popular Music Group, Sergeant Thayer takes inspiration from Cole's artistry. Please enjoy! #Marines#USMC#SemperFi#Music#OkiLife#NatureBoy

Get in tune with Nature reflection. The Kingdom Of Heaven is something that one should never take one's eyes off. The only thing that really matters to truly know one's cellf is in Jungle, closer to the Equator (Sol), one's Mind.
I love mycellf 💚💯
My first time doing the vanlife thing was pretty much the opposite of the luscious fantasy adventure I had conjured up in my mind. Nothing went as planned. The dark foreign streets suddenly seemed so much more threatening now that I was alone, thousands of miles from home. But somewhere in between the various truck stops I turned the discouragement into gratitude, and the fear into fun 😌,
These first couple videos are a documentation of this. My next trip (cumin soon) will be prettier, glossier, and more insta worthy, but it’s equally important to show the rawness of life. That life is grand even when it’s coming off the rails ✌🏼🚐💖
Link in bio / van reel! Show some luv on the boobtube :]
