We’ve been using silver birch to style spaces for years and won’t be stopping anytime soon! Nothing is as impactful, immersive and effective for softening, filling and evoking an atmosphere. 🌿
The internal spaces at Lulworth castle boast incredible heights and is perfect for a 14ft tree as a centre piece, it makes you look up and around and really appreciate the beauty of the space. 🍃
Here the organic feel is continued through soft oatmeal coloured linen which works with the hues of the castle to create a natural feel throughout, smartened with crisp classic cutlery and glassware. It’s always all considered. 🌱
Thank you @kitmyers90 for such a beautiful capture of this @lulworthweddings 🙌🙏

The rarest, rarest blue. Having cut this beautiful piece of light turquoise, mid blue glass 💎💎💎 we then promptly managed to lose it! Any jeweller will tell you what a heart stopping, gut churning moment it is when realisation dawns that a gemstone has disappeared from your bench😱😱😱 A precious, ethical, flawless gem, a one-of-a-kind, straight-from-the-mine gem, even one you have a couple more of....it’s a stomach sinking, deeply frustrating reality of being a jeweller! ⚒⚒⚒💍💍💍. Luckily, a lot of gemstones are cut to sparkle, and can quite quickly be located with a bit of determined look around with a torch, and as long as it’s not caught in clothing, (I’ve found many a gemstone nestled in the bottom of my turned up jeans!). A tiny flash of light amongst the gold and silver dust on the floor can give away its hiding place 👀👀👀✨✨✨💎💎 💎 BUT..... a tiny weeny, took-me-ages-to-shape, rarer-than-rare, the-only-one-I-have sea glass gem is a different class of escapee altogether 🤔🤔.
With no facets to catch the light, but with just as many magical flying-away-and-hiding powers as any other gemstone, sea glass pieces can be almost impossible to find!!!! 🧐🧐🧐The good news is, after having almost been given up for lost, this beautiful piece of ocean treasure was found again 😀😀😀 and securely bezel set in recycled yellow gold flanked by two twinkling recycled diamonds ✨✨✨
P.S. When sea glass fanatics say their favourite material is rarer than diamonds, they’re really not making it up....I had just one piece this colour in my whole collection, saved from being taken back to the ocean by the next tide. 🌊🌊🐟I do hope she likes it!!!💍💍💍😊.
