Just a damp refresh using my @thewetbrush and a bit of finger coiling. Pretty happy how it turned out. Although I'm just back from a lovely walk with my parents pooch in the fresh Perthshire air so it's a little frizzier now 😂
Whilst the weather is dusty and hazy like this, try wearing a headscarf to protect your mane. Getting sand out of afro hair is a nightmare!
Who has a stash of headscarves in their wardrobe? 🙋🏾♀️
The middle parting turns into a side part by day 5, there's no avoiding it 😂
🌸Baby L is now a year old, the toddler stage is fast approaching (he's walking more and more), but our breastfeeding journey is far from over (I hope). While we are living in this house he won't have his own room (until autumn at least) so he sleeps with us or right next to us, and still wakes anywhere between 1 - 4 or more times per night! I've always nursed him to sleep, it saves being up for ages trying to get him back to sleep by himself, I have no patience or energy for that! He will do that by himself when he is ready. People who write books (or well-meaning misinformed relatives with outdated info 😑) will tell you that babies need to learn to self-settle, to have a strict routine bla bla... sometimes I wish I could get a night of uninterrupted sleep or leave him with someone else to do bedtime and go out more, but at the end of the day it's what works for us and I am 100% sure of one thing: it won't last forever! 🌸
