Thanksgiving is tomorrow, but I’m not gonna stuff my face in carbs and turkey legs until Saturday. I will definitely watch a football game or two. Do you have any thanksgiving traditions or must have’s/do’s?

My favorite time of the day.. when the sunset is about to turn a wickey pink color that lights up the sky like a piece of cotton candy! #chicagotravel - you were exactly what I needed to center myself & remind me of where I came from #citylife#concretejungle baby!! 🥂 Cheers to a year of blogging 🥂— sharing my top three things I learned as a blogger 💗 Blogging is so much MORE than posting pictures. It’s about connecting & participating in a larger digital space. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
1. 𝑩𝒍𝒐𝒈𝒈𝒆𝒓𝒔 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑮𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕 𝑭𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔
Many bloggers see other bloggers as enemies or competition, and this is a huge mistake. As a blogger or influencer, you should make it your mission to network and to do it successfully and genuinely. You can learn so much from one another by attending events & workshops!
2. 𝑾𝒐𝒓𝒌 𝒘𝒊𝒕𝒉 𝑩𝒓𝒂𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝑹𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒆𝒄𝒕 𝒀𝒐𝒖
When you first start blogging it’s essential to make sure to collaborate with brands that represent your values and are relevant to the kind of content you wish to put out there. My biggest advice is to decide what you want to focus on and start carving out your unique space as you go.
3. 𝑶𝒓𝒈𝒂𝒏𝒊𝒄 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒕𝒉 𝑻𝒂𝒌𝒆𝒔 𝑻𝒊𝒎𝒆
It’s one of those things that you really can’t change, even with the best of marketing campaigns. It just takes time for people to find your blog in the first place. And that’s ok! Again, just stay true to yourself and keep the content authentic. Something I currently am still working on! Someone with 5K followers and high engagement is better than someone with 50K followers and very low interaction.

Happy Friendsgiving! ❤️We made ours amazing with none other than @eatpre_ filet mignon steaks. Pre brings amazing quality, taste and nutrition, every time. So dependable, great for entertaining or for a quiet night at home. Plus, we love that it’s a Chicago-based fresh foods startup! Pre beef is grass fed and finished, sourced from nutrient-rich pastures and raised with care, with no added antibiotics and no added hormones. You can get Pre in stores around Chicago, like at Mariano’s, Meijer, select Jewel-Osco locations, Heinen’s, Treasure Island, Dill Pickle Coop and other independents (check the store locator at eatpre.com). Or get Pre online at eatpre.com, Amazon, Instacart and Ibotta.
Chicago's own little piece of London. 🇬🇧 Alta Vista Terrace aka the 'Street of 40 Doors' is easily my favorite block in Chicago. The developer (Samuel Gross) traveled to Europe and was so inspired by the rowhouses of Mayfair, London that he came home, bought this block, and started building these homes in 1900. | 📍3800 N Alta Vista Terrace | #chicagoismyboyfriend
