Should you hire a stationer for your wedding invitations? Here are three things to consider:
1. Hiring a professional to guide you through design decisions (like printing methods and paper types) will save you a LOT of time.
2. You'll have an extra set of eyes to review your pieces before AND after they go to print for quality control.
3. A stationer helps you to capture your unique vision for your day, so that your invitations are just as personal and special as you 💜
Want to know more about what it's like to work with a stationer? Ask me anything!

I love the simple elegance of escort cards all lined up.
And just like that our first month of marriage flew by. I'm back to work today after taking an extended summer sabbatical. It's been wonderful to spend the first month of marriage at home with my husband. I cherish these memories. Thank you again to all of our friends and family for sharing in our magical up island weekend. We loved celebrating the solstice with lobster on the beach, hanging out at Bad Martha's, saying "I do" in the Field Gallery and partying at the Grange. It was the best!! Trying to hold on and stay rooted in these memories and this moment for as long as I can. Here's to forever more. I love you, @pkoso88! 📷 credit: @petergreenoweddings #partylikeakostka#marthasvineyardwedding#mvislandweddings#westtisbury

as this year comes to a close, i am finding myself more content than i have been before around this time of the year.
in previous years, the exciting time around new year's often felt a little disappointing to me- it was a reminder of resolutions i didn't fulfill, career and personal goals i didn't meet and general uncertainty about my path and place.
but this year, instead of looking back on all of the things i haven't accomplished, i am noticing myself focusing more and more on all of the things i have done in 2018 that i am proud of. its hard to sum up an entire year in one day because it is easy to forget about all of the small victories along the way.
i am grateful to have a career i love and students who bring such amazing energy and strength to class every day. for friends and family who are kind, loud, silly and happy. for a body that is healthy. for learning to be kinder to myself. for adventures and travel. for @mbplanell who is selfless, thoughtful, brave, goofy, loving and will watch bravo with me. and for all of the new chapters in my life to come.
2018 was pretty great.
2019 is looking pretty amazing too.
