Friday mornings are for waking up super early and crushing a great workout, pushing yourself, lifting heavier than you thought and squatting low!
Great crew this morning!!!
Waking up and walking thru the doors is the hardest part of taking an early morning class! BUT once you are done and you are leaving you feel pumped that you actually committed to the workout and got it DONE!
Such a great feeling and it starts your day (Friday) off to a great start!
What are you doing today to TRANSFORM your life?
At the end of last year I decided I needed to make a change! 2019 IS going to be my year!
I decided I was going to make a total life transformation- mind, body and soul. I was going to immerse myself in personal development books, journaling, gratitude practice, dedicated yoga practice, etc.
I decided I was going to read one book a month and read no less than 20 minutes per day and I am so happy to say that I have finished 4 books since the start of the New Year and have read EVERY SINGLE DAY!
I am transforming my mindset one step at a time and it feels incredible!
Transformation ALWAYS starts with your mind. Your mind controls everything you do. Once you get your mind right everything else will fall into place!
What do you do daily to work on your mindset?
That smile that over takes your face when when someone compliments your kids!! One of the biggest compliments you can ever receive is someone else complimenting you on your children!! 🥰🙌🏽🤗 #beingamomisnoteasy
Historically, serpents and snakes represent fertility or a creative life force. As snakes shed their skin through sloughing, they are symbols of rebirth, transformation, immortality, and healing. •

The secret of change is to focus all of your energy, not on fighting the old, but in building the new ✨
You may have that fitness class you always go to, the cardio machine you automatically go to at the gym, or a free-weight circuit you do regularly at home or at the gym. And that’s ok! But once in a while, you need to switch it up, find some new equipment and exercises that will add a little excitement to your workout. Change is hard because we all like to stay in our comfort zones, sticking with our routines and what we already know but change is necessary for all the right reasons. Here are a few pieces of equipment not used often enough but let me say, they help work those muscles! 💪🏻 Happy to share some specific exercises to do with these - just ask!
What new exercise are you willing to try?

I was FINALLY able to workout this morning!!! It felt so good to be back at it💪! .
I used a modifier for most of my workout but I was not risking injury 🤕
There is something for ALL fitness levels- not all excersise has to be high impact to get results!! .
Keep going. The saying is not that failure isn’t an option; it’s that failure shouldn’t stop you. Teach yourself that it’s going to happen, you’re going to learn from it, and the next thing you do will be stronger and better because of it.

THE PRESENT MOMENT //
This moment is right
before your senses.
How aware are you of
the now? Can you touch
each moment with the palm
of your hand instead of ever
turning back and forth,
flipping the book pages
of time, never being where
you really are?
Can you breathe?

Plank, plank plank! Why we love it? It does work all your main muscle groups in your legs, core, back and arms! When performing it, pay attention that your ankle, knee, hip and shoulder joints are in a line! The most common mistake that people do is, that they push out their lower back trying to aid the exercise but that will put stress on that area resulting in back ache. Try to perform it for a short amount of time but with a correct technique. Example: 20 seconds plank followed by 15 seconds rest, repeated 3-4 times! By time and growing strength you can increase the duration.
For those of you who know me, you know that I am NOT a morning person, but your morning routine is the foundation for the rest of your day! I crushed my workout this morning and damn it feels good! Ready to conquer the day 👊🏻 Happy Friday ya’ll!
For me this means doing instead of dreaming, trusting the process and moving forward in complete faith instead of shrinking back in fear. Heart open, feeling all the feels, embracing the power in this new beginning and oh so open to the magic that I know is to come✨

✨Golden Cauliflower Rice ✨
The best anti-inflammatory combination:
Turmeric, black pepper, coconut milk.
The 3 main ingredients in this rice. I have been finding ways to add this combo in many of my dishes to really maximize these health benefits into my daily life, and I love it. In the past year I started cooking with coconut milk and warm spices to mix it up and once you take the leap it is kind of addicting.😆
Recipe for rice in my story! I topped it off with chicken breast, avocado, shredded cabbage, and a tiny bit of crushed cashews to really get the best of all flavors & textures.
💛Adding recipe to my highlights for reference! 💛
Why do people feel the need to bring others down? Why do people think judging someone is ok? Why do people think that just because they don’t agree with what someone else is doing, they can bash them? Why is there so many negativity in this world?! Just so many WHY’s!!!
I don’t get it. But then again, when I experience situations like this, I remind myself that I’m not on the same level as them. I’m making choices for MY life that make me happy, healthy, and help me live my best life.
It’s funny that when we make positive changes to our life, it somehow makes other people bitter and upset with you. Maybe it’s because they wish it was them, maybe it’s because they’re jealous, or maybe they just don’t get it. And that’s OK. Most of the time it has nothing to do with you, and everything to do with them.
What’s important is to not let any of that negativity bring you down. Protect yourself & protect your energy. You are meant for so much more and you know it.
Block out the noise and GO DO WHAT YOU WERE MEANT TO DO ON THIS EARTH.✨🌍 ❤️

" Cause I'd give my life for one of your belly laughs "
Being grounded means being present in the moment.
Aware of your body, aware of your feelings, without looking for the emergency exit.
How do you connect with your body?
Can you sit still with your breath and with your thoughts coming and going, without trying to escape?
What keeps you rooted?
