.......my oasis of unconditional love is found within these three humans.
@ericadiederichs, Harper and Cannon.......thank you for celebrating me the loudest, for supporting me the fiercest and for holding me accountable in all ways, to make only the best version of myself available to you three, day-in and day-out.
To my Wife.....what I truly most cherish & appreciate from you, is your genuine kindness and boundless nurturing nature that you give towards my heart and spirit whenever I’m appearing to be most vulnerable.
You three make my journey so gratifying, amusing and fulfilling; I simply could not imagine doing this unscripted story called life, with anyone else.
Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable. When we can talk about our feelings, they become less overwhelming, less upsetting, and less scary. The people we trust with that important talk can help us know that we are not alone. - Fred Rogers
Happiness doesn't come from being rich, nor merely from being successful in your career, nor by self-indulgence. One step towards happiness is to make yourself healthy and strong while you are a boy so that you can be useful and so you can enjoy life when you are a man. Robert Baden-Powell
As we age, taking care of our skin becomes necessary to avoid certain health conditions that could affect your lifestyle and comfort. Here are simple ways to take care of your skin:
1. Avoid hot baths and frequent showers.
2. Use mild soaps.
3. Apply moisturizer after every bath or shower.
4. Put on sunblock when going outside during the day.
5. Keep yourself hydrated by drinking liquids.
Our uniqueness, our individuality, and our life experience mold us into fascinating beings. I hope we can embrace that. I pray we may all challenge ourselves to delve into the deepest resources of our hearts to cultivate an atmosphere of understanding, acceptance, tolerance, and compassion. We are all in this life together. -Linda Thompson
Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, more commonly known as PTSD, can affect people of all ages. But, it is more commonly seen in the elderly community. It can be very difficult for seniors that live with PTSD to live by themselves. To help treat and manage PTSD, getting the proper kind of care is necessary. One of the best forms of treatment comes in the form of support groups with other seniors.

A Common Misconception About Dementia
Despite the vast amounts of research and exposure it has over the past decade, there are still many things that people don’t understand about dementia. Today, we are going to take a look at one of the most common misconceptions dementia and the facts behind it.
Misconception: Dementia is part of getting older.
Fact: Many people often think that getting dementia or being forgetful is part of getting older. The truth is, it’s not. Dementia is caused by diseases such as Alzheimer’s.
Although many people may not notice it, depression is a common problem the senior community faces every day. Unfortunately, many older adults and seniors fail to recognize the symptoms, such as feeling down, because many assume it to be part of aging. This leads them to not get the help they need.
If you notice that your loved ones are feeling down or struggling, set down and have a talk with them. Don’t forget to give them all the support you can.
