Feeling like a real life emoji 💃🏽& no, I didn’t hike up this mountain in a dress. If I’m being honest I wasn’t a huge fan of the concept of this photo at first. I’m the “hiker” girl! I feel most like myself covered in dirt lol. But I actually love the way it looks so I’m changing it up a little today!😜

If you've spent more then 10 minutes with me, you know I am goofball. There's one thing I take very seriously though, and that is my love and respect for the big peaks, those mommas clocking in at 14,000' and above. That's why I'm super excited to announce a portion of Catherine Eichel Photography, LLC's proceeds will now support the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative, an organization that supports and protects these majestic mountains.
Its difficult for me to talk about the 14ers without getting emotional. They literally saved my life. When I was in my car accident, the surgeon told me if I hadn't been so strong from hiking, its very likely I would have been killed instead of just having a spinal fracture. These peaks rebuilt my broken heart when I moved to Colorado, and they rebuilt my broken body while I was recovering from my accident. They have held me at my most fragile while pushing me far beyond my limits. It has been the best partnership of my life, and its my turn to give back.
I want others to enjoy these incredible beauties for decades to come. I want this to be my legacy. With more and more people on the peaks, I feel a deep need to step up and protect them for their sake and for future generations.
You can join me in supporting this cause or finding out more information at: . I'll be on the trail restoration project on July 11th for Grays & Torrey's if you want to work alongside me! Thanks for reading to the end of this super long post 💛
Morning workout compete 👊🏼 I’m making so much progress I’m loving it! Since moving in to our new place I’ve spent a lot of time on Pinterest & planning out how I’m going to decorate it 🖤 when we moved to Puerto Rico we got rid of all of our furniture except our bed so now we have a fresh clean slate to work with which I’m pretty excited for! Have you ever ordered from wayfair? Thoughts and experiences if you have please! 🙏🏼 #fitnessmotivation
We lived out of suitcases, vans, cars and storage units for 18 months. It was an incredible adventure but I really missed having a home base we could come back to that was completely ours... not a friend’s sofa, a hotel, or a tent, but a space I could feel 100% at home in. This week @matthewhahnel and I found that home base in Washington. I finally have a space to call my office, store my books (nerd alert!), keep our ridiculous amount of camping gear, and actually unpack my clothes! Having a home base won’t be slowing down our adventures but it sure will make the in between times more fun and productive. I’m guessing some of you fellow travelers can relate!! Photo captured by the lovely @sam_griggs, with my edit ✨
Deep blue but you painted me golden. 💙
Got my passport so tomorrow I will leave the US and head to Iceland! Seriously can’t wait to be back, for some reason this place always comforts me and feels so refreshing. Daydreaming about old and new places to go this summer. ✨

People always ask, if you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be? For me, the PNW will always be home. How about you? 🏡
