ok here is an old vid of me making myself stretch bc sitting in front of a computer all day is seriously aging me and my body is frail and i’m trying to stretch more.....im dramatic but it’s true. anyway, i’m really posting this to discuss the lack of recent motivation. here we go...
i’ve been so unmotivated lately - not sure if it’s because of moving, the fact that it’s still dark when my alarm goes off in the AM, or not eating enough/the right foods to give me energy. whatever it is, i’m dedicating this week to get back into my early morning routine. im 100% all about listening to your body but there is a difference between actually not feeling well/not having any energy to work out and then just making up excuses. i deff am guilty of the latter recently. once you get out of a habit it can be difficult to get back into it, but after a few days back into a consistent routine it becomes a whole lot easier. im back to setting my alarm for 4:30am every morning and honestly first few days are a little miserable and then my body starts to wake up naturally at that time. i’m a morning person for sure but that doesn’t mean it’s easy to wake up at 4:30, i just do what i have to in order to avoid working out at 6:30pm after a long day at work (idk how other ppl do it honestly). if i don’t make it in the morning there is a very slim chance i get there at night, just not my thing.
ok i’m done rambling. this post is to hold myself accountable for waking up at 4:30am everyday for the rest of this week and next week until im officially back into the habit. STAY TUNED.
also, if you find yourself hating the gym after a long day and the only other time to go is before 7am but you’re too tired to wake up...i promise it’s worth it once you start doing it everyday🙂
