“A healthy lifestyle not only changes your body, it changes your mind, your attitude and your mood” .
That quote is so very true! As you can see my health journey has made changes to my body that are noticeable physically but the benefits of how it changes you in the inside is far more amazing than what you can see. .
Take care of yourself, it’s so important ❤️

Be grateful for all you have and love yourself and you will find happiness. 🦋 You are always going to want more, it’s human nature. But be grateful for the little things. #positivephoebes#happiness
I always tell people watch how you move in life because there are always people watching you. I’m not talking about negative people or haters or people that don’t want to see you win, I’m talking about family, friends, coworkers, classmates and even strangers that look to you for inspiration. There are always people secretly watching the decisions you make, the goals you achieve and how you live your life and you even though they may never tel you, you are inspiring them to do more with their lives. Just know that when you go after your goals and dreams and step outside of your comfort zone, you encourage others to do the same. Shoutout to all of the people who DM me, text me, call me, email me and hit me up in the streets to tell me how my moves or words inspire them to do more. I’m honoured and blessed to play a small part in you moving your life forward. #blessed
Theres a 1.5 year difference between these two photos. Progress takes time, nothing worth having in life comes easy. Perseverance is a major key to success; being able to remain disciplined, determined and consistent will get you far in life, not just in fitness. A lot of people arent happy with their bodies but the biggest problem is setting unrealistic goals. They key is setting small goals. I wanted to tone up my tummy, given I have an injury to both legs cardio has been a struggle for me for a few years now. So instead of setting a “quick” goal in the gym and doing a ton of cardio to drop weight and tone up, I set one in the kitchen. In the left I weighed the heaviest Ive been, 145lbs... I promised myself Id clean up my diet. I didnt look to see what others were eating and what worked for them because I know my body is different. I did research. I looked up nutritional facts on everything I ate and now im down to 115lbs. While I dont love being this small I reached my goal. I toned my tummy. I learned a little and took it as far as I could. First I changed my diet then I started adding in the ab exercises. I think a huge barrier other than setting unrealistic goals is trying to change to many variables at once. As humans were programmed to struggle with change, dont make the struggle harder by trying to move to faster than your body can adjust. Just like you need time to wake up and get moving in the morning, your body needs time to adjust to the imposed demands. Start small. If youre not seeing results quickly, dont give up because I promise you the results are waiting on the other side of your effort. Be consistent. Give yourself time. Be steady. We all wanna become better but we need to learn to enjoy the journey as much as the results. Being able to enjoy the journey will make the results so much sweeter. When you get the body youve always wanted youll be unstoppable, youll have unapologetic confidence in your body, mind and soul. “Your results are a mirror of the effort you put in” think of it as a race...youve all heard slow and steady wins the race... set realistic goals, educate yourself and make the moves. If I can do it, you can too...☺️💪🏽💫

Where is the wealthiest place on the planet? No, it is not Dubai, it is not China! It’s the graveyard!! There you will find potential never realized! There you will find abilities, skills and gifts the world was never exposed to!
Many people die full, full of dreams, full of talents, full of ideas, full of skills, full of intelligence. That they never reached for, that they never tapped, that they never got into, that they never used. Because they were scared.
However, I am here to tell you have nothing to fear when chasing your dreams, passions and goals.
For we all will suffer one of two types of Pain. However, we have the power to choose which pain that is. Know this, pain is inevitable, yet the suffering is optional.
Either you suffer the pain of discipline or the pain of regret. The pain of discipline is temporary while the pain of regret will last a lifetime.
Therefore, as you can now see, you have more to fear not going after your dreams, passions and goals. For the pain of regret, will last forever.
When you are laying on your deathbed, you will be forced to have one of two conversation's with yourself:
Conversation 1 -You will look up and you will see the eyes of what could have been, the eyes of passions never chased, the eyes talents never used. Leaving you with great sorrow and asking yourself why, why didn’t I go for it, why didn’t I follow my heart? Why did I let my life pass me by?
Conversation 2 - You will look up and you will see the eyes of passions chased, the eyes of love given, the eyes talents used. Leaving you with the feelings of satisfaction, gratitude and fulfillment.
The question you should be asking yourself right now is……. Which pain do you want to experience? Will you chose the pain of discipline or the pain of regret.
