Our Five Pillars of positive self-identity:
Spotlight on Tribe!
The Tribe pillar is all about community. Teachers, coaches, parents, grandparents, siblings, mentors, friends, pets.
You name it: it's who we connect with, or have the opportunity and privilege to connect with. --- The Tribe pillar draws on two key areas of research in improving individual wellbeing and assisting in the development of positive self-identities; CONNECTION and EMPOWERMENT - LifeChanger begins the process of raising awareness to that sense of personal empowerment, and to connection and belonging as tools for increasing overall health and wellbeing in communities.
All of the ‘ninch locals would have to agree that there’s no better sausage roll, than a @johnnyripe sausage roll, and we’re proud to let you know that they include MPC free range pork mince, no less.
Sunday local footy, and a @johnnyripe sausage roll? … don’t mind if we do!

Another one from our own back doorstep. Blairgowrie on the Mornington Peninsula has a stunning cliff top walk and then a scramble down to a beautiful beach 🏖 it’s only about an hours drive from Melbourne where we live 👍🏼

‘Blue’ has definitely been the favourite this week. Taken off the old pier in Mornington, this image seems to strike a chord with locals, but also has wider appeal for lovers of the ocean everywhere. The overwhelming response to Blue is that viewers tell me it makes them feel calm. There is more to art than just aesthetics..

Ok legends, it's really happening!
Our Pick My Project submission is through to voting stage. If successful, we will be able to supply 1000 families who are starting again with everyday essentials, including small kitchen appliances, cleaning products, toiletries, essential pantry staples and more. Many of these families have fled significant family violence and trauma backgrounds, and find themselves eventually in safe accommodation, with little more than clothing. We can do better than this as a community, and our project is a phenomenal starting point.
Here's what you need to do ...
1. Go to www.pickmyproject.vic.gov.au
2. Put the pin on the suburb you identify as your community. This selects your voting projects as you can only vote within 5km of a project, and ours is based in Frankston (you must identify Frankston as your community, either living, working, or playing within a 5km radius to vote for our project). You will be asked to enter a street and mobile number for verification purposes.
3. Scroll to find ESSENTIALS FOR FLEEING FAMILIES (1st page)
4. Add to voting shortlist
5. You must select two more projects, then you can vote!
6. Once you vote you will have to verify your phone number
7. Share, share, share! Tag whoever you know lives, works or trains in the Frankston, Seaford, Frankston South, Langwarrin areas
Please do not be put off by having to register your details, it's an essential part of the voting process to make sure votes are legitimate.
Come on MSFIN friends, we can do this!
