When people say "Gear doesn't matter", I know that they've never touched a Moog. I've had Moogerfooger pedals for ten years now and I'm still finding inspiration in them. And yes, this year I will finally purchase my dream Subsequent 37 synth!
I recently discovered a sneaky cable routing trick by which I can send amp-modeled guitar tracks in Ableton out to external effects, then re-record the effects back in. Building tracks this way is a little tedious, but sounds surprisingly good.
These pedals tend to be front and center in the guitar parts that I write, so it feels natural to build an entire music project's sound on them.

All oiled, polished and new strings to be put on! Today is a good day!

The Subsequent37 is playing a duophonic sequence and sends midi to the Sub37, and Gate CV out to the Voyager XL's attenuator then the multibay and to the Gate and VCA. This began as a harmonic exploration from a story i had posted but turned into a programming and arrangement exercise trying out ideas with the 4 Moogs talking to each other. Hope you enjoy the 1st person perspective as my hands were free this time!
