Monday's Not Coming 👩💼 By Tiffany D. Jackson
One of the most mesmerizing fiction I had read , the story of a girl on quest of finding her friend who vanished in blue and no one seems to help her (or don't want to help her ). A must read for fans of realistic fiction novels ( you can share an epilogue from view of APRIL) "Mondays are the best days! Like, aren’t you excited about the start of a new week? It’s like a new chapter in a book." Tiffany D Jackson ,'Monday's Not Coming
This book better not upset me as much as “Allegedly” did! When I read “Allegedly” I neglected my other responsibilities because I couldn’t stop reading and physically threw the book once I finished because I was no upset. I guess that just means it was a great book! 📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚📚 From the critically acclaimed author of Allegedly, Tiffany D. Jackson, comes a gripping new novel perfect for fans of E. Lockhart and Gillian Flynn about the mystery of one teenage girl’s disappearance and the traumatic effects of the truth.
Monday Charles is missing, and only Claudia seems to notice. Claudia and Monday have always been inseparable—more sisters than friends. So when Monday doesn’t turn up for the first day of school, Claudia’s worried.
When she doesn’t show for the second day, or second week, Claudia knows that something is wrong. Monday wouldn’t just leave her to endure tests and bullies alone. Not after last year’s rumors and not with her grades on the line. Now Claudia needs her best—and only—friend more than ever. But Monday’s mother refuses to give Claudia a straight answer, and Monday’s sister April is even less help.
#mondaysnotcoming PAPERBACK OUT TODAY! Also has a few chapters from #letmeheararhyme
QOTD: Which month in MNC is your favorite? Mine is December. (Or maybe March. That bathroom scene is the first pages I wrote 😉)
So, I baked and read a lot this weekend and this is one of the books I finished. It was really well done, but it was so heavy. It dealt with issues of trauma and abuse. I haven’t read anything like it before and I love that she addressed issues like this.
QOTD: What was a book that made you think?
Happy Sunday 🌻 “This is the story of how my best friend disappeared. How nobody noticed she was gone except me. And how nobody cared until they found her . . . one year later.” -Monday’s Not Coming
On my way back from a weekend trip to D.C., decided to make this my train ride read! 📚
Where was your last weekend getaway?
I cannot stop thinking about Monday’s Not Coming by Tiffany D. Jackson since finishing it two days ago. @writeinbk wrote another captivating, emotional, shocking novel. I still cannot fully formulate my love for Jackson and her two novels (Allegedly being her first). Monday’s Not Coming is the story of Claudia and her best friend Monday who goes missing at the beginning of the school year. Claudia sets out to find out where her best friend has gone, but it doesn’t seem like anyone else notices or cares. Told through different flashbacks to get the story of Monday’s life, then Claudia trying to find Monday and deal with her disappearance, and then the “After”. Everyone needs to read this novel! #tiffanydjackson#mondaysnotcoming#teacherswhoreadya#iteachela#iteach7th
A raw outlook on the missing persons epidemic going on in the United States. Beautiful written story told by a young girl who loses her best friend and no one seems to care enough to do anything about it. A look into the process of losing a loved one- the before, the during & the after. An absolute page turner!

As Claudia digs deeper into her friend’s disappearance, she discovers that no one seems to remember the last time they saw Monday.
