Your wedding is a unique opportunity to reflect all of the things that are important to you. All of the things that you want to build your marriage on. All of the things that have brought you to get married in the first place. For this couple, Jesus is #1 , so the most natural thing for them to do on their wedding day was spend time worshipping Him and we 👏 were 👏 here 👏 for 👏 it! 👏
Island weddings always have a place in my heart, for many MANY reasons.⠀
1. You get to work with couples like Lindsey + Ryan, who are the most down-to-earth, relaxed human beings. No stress. Just good vibes all day. They gave themselves space to truly enjoy their wedding day, and it's reflected EVERYWHERE in their photos! 🙌⠀
2. No word of exaggeration, but every single car that passed us today honked in celebration. Everyone knows everyone!✌⠀
3. We can do the coolest stuff that you can’t get away with in cities - like carry your bride up a freaking hydro pole. Like - WHAT?! This actually happened (photo for proof). 🙈⠀
Thank you Lindsey + Ryan for being the absolute BEST humans and letting me paparazzi you all day. Your wedding was nothing short of perfect. 🥂

Today I have two amazing sessions, a wedding to deliver, emails to send, and a trip to pack for. But this morning I spent a large amount of time pondering where my cat thinks I go when I leave the house ...

We woke to claps of thunder this morning alongside bursts of lightening, and it made me remember the most incredible thunderstorm I've ever experienced.
I was in Iowa, visiting a dear old friend, and suddenly the sky lit up with what can only be described as a strobe effect of lightening, the thunder following moments later. That went on for minutes before any rain, so we were able to stand outside in the middle if the night and just experience the world exploding around us.
Despite the loudness of the thunder, I felt a sense of stillness.
Almost like being deaf, but specifically to anything except the experience.
The world giving the most bold of reminders to stop, listen, and be still.
I'll never forget that.
This photo is of a completely calm day in Lake Tahoe that has nothing to do with that story.
My face right now since my ten month old slept long enough for me to take a shower AND shave 🙌🏼 #lifechanging
Now I'm about to make the world's best banana muffins for breakfast and see what hubs and baby girl want to do today 😊
Hope you all have a restful Sunday!

With Carly’s late father’s mustang, on Cain’s family’s apple orchard, where they married each other in front of 500 friends and family members. I love when meaningful layers find their way into a photo. #appleyeverafter
Sunday mornings are better spent in bed with you.⠀
⠀ #repost : @kcmstudios writes, "I am so honored to have been a part of their anniversary. We met on a stormy summer day last year and again today for their first wedding anniversary. As luck would have it, by the time the first photo was shot, we were in the middle of another storm. Windows in the studio were all open, flooding the space with the peaceful sound of rain and rolling thunder. It was absolute magic today. We came, I watched love and warmth all afternoon, listened to beautiful words and may have ended with a battle royale of a pillow fight. Happy Anniversary to these two smoking hot brides."⠀

I've always loved stormy weather. I love that a force of nature can be so powerful and so calming all at once. As yesterday progressed, we watched the weather turn from sunshine and steaming air to tornadoes and lightning strikes in the east-central Texas plains. Gina and Brendan never wavered, never feared. It's rare to find a love so pure and so powerful, a love they have. While we were taking these photos, the lightning was striking behind us and the raindrops starting falling again, but they only noticed each other. Between the prayers they said, the tears shed, the hymns sang, and the laughter shared, Gina and Brendan proved they have a special kind of love for not only one another, but the people that surround them. Beautiful strength and calm comes from many places - the crashing ocean waves, the rolling thunder on a summer night, or in the arms of the onew we love the most. Especially, in the arms of the one we love most. I witnessed that last night in Texas. To the new Napoli Family: I am blessed by you and grateful for you and your friendship. Here's to many more years of Italian food, Midwestern road trips, shared letters, and remembering to dance in the rain. To the Napoli's. #happilythenapolis

I have such a love for photography. It’s so more then just art, or traveling , or the fun you have taking them (cus it’s a BLAST) it’s really being able to have that moment FOREVER. That single moment you held each other’s hand, kissed, said I love you, danced, laughed and so many years will go by and memories will fade. But moments you capture together don’t. One of the many reasons I love this Art. ❤️
