5 Things to do before starting your investment
How long do you want to keep the investment? Success stories do not happen overnight. Even you are a long-term investor, it is very important to know the length of time you want to do and keep the investment. You will need to evaluate your expectations from such investment. The return of investment must be foreseen by anyone who wants to enter in investing.
Return of Investment
In any investment, the return of investment must be foreseen by anyone who wants to enter the world of investing. Expecting a 10%, 20%, 30% annually is normal to know if such investment is worthy of your time. This is where market research and feasibility studies come in handy. Again, returns depend on the type of investment.
To maximize earning, investor must strike a balance between the goal and its risk. Diversifying is to spread out the risk to create a solid portfolio. In stock investing, spreading the risk thinly could mean money loss. More money wouldn't necessarily mean more earning. Exit Strategy
In any kind of investment, there is no assurance that you will reach the goal even if you fulfill every step of the way. Exit strategy is a requirement in any investment. One must know when to tell enough is enough. As an investor you must be clear when you want to withdraw your money and how you can do it.
Investing is a very good opportunity for you to grow your money. But getting into investment is not a walk in the park. As an investor, it's your responsibility to know the facts and learn the way around it to be successful. What looks good on paper may not look good in reality if you become careless with your investment.
Haven’t done a #fixeditfriday for way too long!
After a dreary week the sun is shining and it’s perfect loose dress weather ☀️ I thrifted this (early 90s?) drop waist beauty but didn’t look closely enough to notice that the button placket was purely decorative 😱 With the boob fiend toddler in mind I used some bias tape to create a proper button up bodice. There wasn’t even a mm of fabric to spare so it’s a bit messy on the inside, but who cares when it does the job 👌🏼
Hat is #memade (self drafted from another hat because clever clogs).
Time to go bask in the blue skies!
#sewphotohop Day 4: Signature look. I think these four pictures from #mmmay18 summarises my style quite well: classic, vintage inspired, midi-maxi length skirts and dresses, preferably in navy blue with red and green contrasts. And, of course, my denim news-boy cap (in winter exchanged for a flat tweed cap). If that’s not my signature, I don’t know what is! 😊 Skirts, dress and cap in these pics are me-made, the rest RTW. #sewing#memadewardrobe#imakemyownclothes
Laughing because I was just about to put away all my summer pieces and today it's hot as ⚾️🏀⚽️. But atleast I get to enjoy my DIY shirt a little longer.
Also I'm thinking of making a YouTube video showing all my summer makes (there's alot I didn't show on here) anyone interested?
Pattern: self drafted
Coming soon to Topstitch... @octopurse is back! Handmade in Belgium, Daphne is always surprising us with fun patterns and prints from our favorite fabric brands, like this cute little coin pouch made from @cottonandsteel goodness 💛
Does anyone else have a sewing New Year where you stop, finish up nagging home dec or mending projects and really think about what you want to work on next? For me, it's always the summer. Right now, I'm taking a break from sewing and - gasp - blogging, and taking the time to refine my style.
I'm doing the @seamworkmag#designyourwardrobe program for the next four weeks so I can plan my ultimate capsule for fall/winter. I'm trying to make sure that I make clothes that I feel great in every day and trying to continue the learning I made during #mmmay18.
I'm going to do a post about capsules when I'm done and I'm wondering if anyone out there has resources, tips or questions that I should include in my post. Send anything you've got my way!
#naehenmachtgluecklich#naehenisttoll#naehen#naehenverbindet#naehliebe#naehdirwas#patternandclothes#handmadewardrobe#sewingproject#sew#easypattern#patternrelease#sewcialists#sewcialistsofinstagram#memademay2018#mmmay18#naehblogger_de

i sewed this jumpsuit!
i was in over my head with this "advanced beginner" pattern (lol), but i'm pretty happy with it!
shortened bodice and legs by 1.5" each, took legs in by 3" to address heavy fabric, lowered back by 2" to avoid invisible zipper, and only did half of the burrito all-in-one facing because i had a fit over the second strap. buuut worth it; i've worn it so many times.

Nearly the end of #mmmay18 musings... I only started sewing clothes a couple of years ago after watching #thegreatbritishsewingbee
I was inspired to dust off my machine which had previously done a lot of quilting but I had no idea where to begin with clothes. I decided that if they could do it so could I, so alongside my amazing friends @indigorocket and @the_considered we spent every Thursday evening sewing. I couldn’t have done it without them (😘). Now I have an almost handmade wardrobe and as I turn 45 I feel like I’ve re-found my style, which can be a difficult thing to do as you transition through life. After scrutinising my makes this month I have a really clear direction of what I want to make in the future. Thanks to @sozoblog for me made may, the daily inspiration and feedback from so many talented and kind people has been awesome.

And that's a wrap! I had so much fun participating in Me Made May and checking out some of the amazing participants from around the world. 🔹 I wore something I made every day and took photos of some things I'd never documented before, finished up some old projects (2 of those still to post), and learned a lot about how to best focus my time and energy into making things I want to wear, like my @marillawalker#robertscollection jumpsuit.
🔹 So happy to share this fulfilling hobby with you all -- thank you for following along! 😘 #mmmay18

Et voilá, another #hinterlanddress in buttery, pinstripe linen from @purewhitespa. This design is SO close to ready for testing! I completed the dress over four days, little by little, usually with a four year-old on my lap. So much is possible by taking one step at a time. 🖤 #mmmay18
It’s the last day of #mmmay18 and we have been so inspired by your me-made outfits! ❤️ Louise has written a new blog post about five things she’s taking away from Me-Made-May - read it on the blog now ☝️ (This is the Bettine dress pattern made in a floral viscose) #memadeeveryday#sewingbettine
