The biggest key to success is the ability to recognize how much you dont know. I see so many people get demolished because they start believing their own ”news clippings” about how great they are. I can only speak for myself, but I know I am not great. I have been able to grasp a few things though. 🗝
I've been a part of a few wins. I've checked a few boxes off for myself... but what sticks with me more than anything else is how much I have to learn, improve and how much progress there is to make.
I've seen a lot of people after a few small wins walk around with their chest puffed out like they are the greatest thing that ever walked the earth. They talk about how great they are. They talk smack about how dumb their competitors are. They bask in their “greatness” and think they have it “all figured out”. Come the next year they cant afford to pay their bills.
Longevity is far different than flash in the pan wins. Everybody gets “wins” not everybody CONSISTENTLY wins. What separates those two groups is ones ability to critique themselves, see whos doing certain aspects better then them, learn & improve from that data and repeat that process over & over & over again for life and its real hard to learn new skills when you think you already know everything.
Humility in preparation. Confidence in execution.✌😘
