Business just doesn’t happen. It’s not like in the movie Field of Dreams where, “If you build it, they will come” and you will never have to worry about anything.
Growing a business requires a lot of hustle. It oftentimes requires a great deal of sacrifice. It requires dedication and determination to succeed. Most everyone who is not naïve about the business world understands these things.
What most business owners and managers who struggle with business growth, HR challenges, and making strategic business decisions do not know is that if a person does not have certain leadership qualities, that a business will struggle to see consistent growth. And, for most business owners and managers they will be unable to grow beyond a hand full of employees at best.
Management experts have determined that aside from the technical skills and general business sense needed to succeed in a competitive market place (both of which can both most often be gleaned from a formal education), a person’s Emotional Quotient or “EQ” is the single most important aspect of an effective leader.
If you want to be a good leader, either in running your own business or as a corporate ladder climber, take time on a regular basis to develop your Emotional Quotient - your EQ.

External motivation is but fleeting. Unless your belief is coming from within and sparked emotionally it will not last.
Determine your self worth by doing self evaluation(look within). Wherever you find deficiencies, seek out ways to change it and create the ultimate you. If you need to lose weight hit the gym and change your diet. If you’re dumb read more 🤷🏽♂️. If your finance sucks , start budgeting 🤷🏽♂️
No one can believe or do it for you, you must do it yourself. Be someone you can believe in by making the changes you know you can.
The beginning of Solomon’s reign couldn’t have gone any better and there are several aspects that we can learn from for our own walk with God.
1 Solomon loved God. Right at the beginning of his reign it appears that Solomon had learned the one key ingredient to a good life from his father, to be God’s man. Loved is 'âhab which means to have intimacy with, to desire to be with and satisfy. This carries the idea that Solomon had a close relationship with God and wanted to be God’s man just as David had been.
2 Solomon was an extravagant worshipper offering great sacrifices to the Lord. Solomon was famous for his wealth and this is shown by the almost over the top nature of his worship of God offering on one occasion 1000 burnt offerings to the Lord.
3 God appears to Solomon in a dream. Such was his pursuit of God that he hears from God in a dream with God asking Solomon the most remarkable thing: ‘Ask what shall I give you”. This question appears limitless in its potential with God basically saying ask what you want and I’ll give it to you!
4 Solomon’s response reveals several keys to us:
He recognises that God made him king not man.
He sees himself as a child, not that he was as when he became king he was about 40 years old. Being like a child implies a humility concerning the task at hand. Solomon didn’t see himself as being up for the job without the helping hand of God.
He asks for wisdom to deal wisely in his role and not for personal gain. This is one of the greatest things we can learn from Solomon, wisdom being the principle thing Proverbs 4:7.
God grants his request because he made it about others and not about him, but not only that He also gives Solomon what he didn’t ask for and proclaims an incredible blessing over his life with longevity and riches beyond measure, all because his focus was on others and being God’s man.
5 There is a negative here though as Solomon marries the daughter of the pharaoh of Egypt. Now there was great political sense in this alliance and this was a common practice among kings as such political alliances led to great military, financial and trade benefits.

소녀, 연을 날리다

훅, 하고 한 줌 바람이 일면 잽싸게 소녀는 일어나

소녀는 연을 날린다, 바람이 인다.
길바닥에 나뒹구는 쓰레기나

Tonight I was on a social media site and someone posted something in the caption along the lines of “idc” in the caption. In other words, what she was saying and posted she didn’t care what others thought, because she felt so strongly about it that it just didn’t matter. And you wanna know what happened? People who didn’t agree with her started commenting and TELLING her how they felt, plus these people started getting into arguments over the subject of the matter.
I get it, you have the write to comment what you feel on others peoples posts. But, why must WE always COMMENT & always get OFFENDED over nothing? It may be something to you and a sensitive subject, but why do we do it publicly all over social media where it can’t come across how we intended it?
I personal believe that there is a time to speak & NOT TO SPEAK & sometimes that means ignoring some posts on social media, because we’re supposed to love others & not tear them down due to a post or over the fact they don’t agree with you.
The person matters more than their opinion. The world is desperate for love and light. By all means speak when God is tugging on your heart, but know, even then, He only wants you to do in & out of love.

“Every woman has a “house,” an immediate sphere of influence. If you are married, if you have children, your family is your closest and most important circle of influence. Single women also have a “house”; it encompasses those lives they touch within their extended family, their church, their workplace, and their community. A wise woman is actively involved in building her house on a daily basis, but the fool- ish woman tears down her house with her own hands” - Cyrus Woman
From a young, seeking, insecure teenage girl to a confident, God fearing, woman. I’ve experienced SO. MUCH. LIFE. in 10 short years. Triumphs and failures, deep belly laughs and deep sorrows, challenges and growth, met and fell in love with Jesus, then fell in love with my soul mate @jamwelton, Got married, had babies and gave and received a whole lotta love. After seeing these past 10 years I’m so excited to see what the next 10 have in store. Bring. It. On. #wife#mom#believer#drummer#ministry#preacher#christian#jesus#blessed#love#joy#confidence#womenempowerment

Don’t plan without God. God seems to have a delightful way of upsetting the plans we have made, when we have not taken Him into account. We get ourselves into circumstances that were not chosen by God, and suddenly we realize that we have been making our plans without Him— that we have not even considered Him to be a vital, living factor in the planning of our lives. And yet the only thing that will keep us from even the possibility of worrying is to bring God in as the greatest factor in all of our planning.
In spiritual issues it is customary for us to put God first, but we tend to think that it is inappropriate and unnecessary to put Him first in the practical, everyday issues of our lives. If we have the idea that we have to put on our “spiritual face” before we can come near to God, then we will never come near to Him. We must come as we are.
Don’t plan with a concern for evil in mind. Does God really mean for us to plan without taking the evil around us into account? “Love…thinks no evil” (1 Corinthians 13:4-5). Love is not ignorant of the existence of evil, but it does not take it into account as a factor in planning. When we were apart from God, we did take evil into account, doing all of our planning with it in mind, and we tried to reason out all of our work from its standpoint.
Don’t plan with a rainy day in mind. You cannot hoard things for a rainy day if you are truly trusting Christ. Jesus said, “Let not your heart be troubled…” (John 14:1). God will not keep your heart from being troubled. It is a command— “Let not….” To do it, continually pick yourself up, even if you fall a hundred and one times a day, until you get into the habit of putting God first and planning with Him in mind.
So if you have been doing things in your own way! I would suggest to consult God and do it His way.
