Sooo I’m back with my #berlin challenge! This house on Cuxhavener Straße is just 5 min away from my place and I spotted it the first day I moved in! It was built in 1891 in the style of historicism and was one of the ca. 40 buildings (out of 343) in Hansaviertel which were not destroyed during the war. The flag you see on the left is where the embassy of the Republic of Honduras is located. I’m definitely going to read more about the history of Berlin now... do you guys always try to learn more about some interesting places you notice? I feel like there’s so much around us that we have no idea about and that if we knew more we’d be more excited about living in some certain areas?!
I found a special place for this beautiful gemmy Vera Cruz amethyst point 🙏🏻 I think it's hard to see how small this piece is from the photo. The wee unicorn can stand on the tip of my finger. Didn't do so for the snap because I didn't want to displace the crystal and in its unfired state they are oh so fragile 🙇🏻 The weekend is packed with two nature themed events and I will be assisting in the workshop for upcycling plastic bottles into planters with an awesome team of people. Onward! #lithopsstudiowip
