Do you know that there are eating disorders besides anorexia and bulimia?
1️⃣ Avoidance or restrictive food intake disorder
They under-eat due to a lack of interest in food or intense distaste for how certain foods look smell or taste.
An individual consumes non-food items such as rocks, paper and hair.
3️⃣ Bulimia nervosa
They indulge in a large amount of food and make themselves purge shortly after.
4️⃣ Anorexia nervosa
They are obsessed with perfecting their body image by limiting their calories intake.
5️⃣ Nocturnal sleep-related eating disorder
Individuals unknowingly eat in their sleep.
6️⃣ Binge eating disorder
They consume a large amount of food on a daily basis, exceeding the suggested daily calorie intake.

Made my first vision board this year. I usually make yearly Pinterest boards but I figured this year I’d pick out the most aesthetically pleasing images that were spot on with my goals and print them out so I could see them in my house daily. 💬The fitness community has changed greatly over the years. It has gone through phases of believing certain things, and then they become myths. The science in exercise and fitness is fascinating and will probably always be changing! But as of currently there are a few facts that have turned into myths! Let’s get into them 💪
💬Myth❌: The more you sweat, the more you burn!
Truth✅: Just because you come out of a certain worked out drenched in sweat while other days you don’t sweat as much, that doesn’t mean you have burnt more calories in that workout compared to the others! Sweat is essentially just the body cooling itself down. It regulates our internal body temperatures! The amount you sweat can depend on the weather, the temperature in the gym etc.😅😅
💬Myth❌: Stretching will help your body recover faster after a workout.
Truth✅: Yes stretching is very good for you before and after a workout, but it doesn’t necessarily completely speed up muscle tissue repair or reduce muscle soreness. Studies have shown that the blood lactate levels don’t decrease after you stretch (which is a measure of how fatigued your muscles are). But stretching does increase joint flexibility and feels good and relaxing in general so keep at it!😊🧘♀️🤸♀️
💬Myth❌: Lifting weights will make you bulky!
Truth✅: We have all heard this myth many times, either being preached or being told how it’s not true. But the scientific facts show the truth! Women typically have less muscle tissue than men meaning we won’t be able to grow our muscles as big as men could. We also produce lower testosterone levels meaning we physically can’t grow that amount of muscle to being female hulk😂 so keep grinding with the weights and pushing your strength daily!!💪🏋️♀️
💬Do your research before you believe everything you are told in a fitness journey. In the end just do what works for you. What brings you joy and makes fitness feel like a chore! As long as you are happy and seeing the results you desire then you are doing it right😊 live a healthy lifestyle that you can preach and inspire others with!❤️

I have had several people tell me I should write a book...but where would I begin? Back to when I was 5 when my dad had his 1st heart attack while sledding alone with me & I cried helplessly on his chest not knowing what to do until some strangers came over & pulled me away? And that maybe that was the moment that set the tone for the rest of my life of always wanting to help people, fix their problems, heal the broken hearted thru my love & compassion for them bc I "needed" to feel useful & not as helpless as I did in that moment...but often just ending up broken & hurt myself? Als eine Gruppe Frösche durch den Wald reiste, fielen zwei in eine tiefe Grube. Als die anderen Frösche sich um die Grube drängten und sahen, wie tief es war, sagten sie den beiden Fröschen, dass für sie keine Hoffnung mehr sei.
Die beiden Frösche beschlossen jedoch, das, was die anderen sagten, zu ignorieren, und sie versuchten, aus der Grube zu springen .
Trotz ihrer Bemühungen sagte die Gruppe der Frösche oben in der Grube immer noch, dass sie einfach aufgeben sollten. Dass sie es niemals schaffen würden.
Schließlich kümmerte sich einer der Frösche um das, was die anderen sagten, und er gab auf und fiel in den Tod. Der andere Frosch fuhr fort, so stark er konnte. Wieder schrie die Menge der Frösche ihn an, den Schmerz zu stoppen und einfach zu sterben.
Er sprang noch fester und schaffte es schließlich heraus. Als er ausstieg, sagten die anderen Frösche: "Hast du uns nicht gehört?" Der Frosch erklärte ihnen, dass er taub war. Er dachte, sie würden ihn die ganze Zeit ermutigen.

This is a different kind of post. Some of you may know or some of you may not know, but I started out as a nutrition coach.
Now I do Financial life coaching and nutrition coaching. While I chose to focus more on finances and mindset, I’m still passionate about nutrition.
How are you doing on your 2019 goals? It’s almost the end of January and this is when people start quitting on themselves.
This year is going to be different for you. You are going to bet on yourself this year.
I don’t usually do the whole January get healthy, go to the gym. New year, new me thing. Just not my jam 💁♀️
What I do is use January to set my intentions for the year. Then I reset my body by doing a deep clean 🧼 so I can boost my metabolism.
It’s important to do a hardcore reset on your body a couple of times a year. To jump start your health goals and make sure your body is working in prime order.
But that isn’t the part I want to talk about. It’s easy to start, but hard to maintain. Am I right?
I’ve learned how to make health a priority in my life and tbh it took me a few years to make it a habit.
