The last week has been a time of reflection as I relaxed and spent time with friends and family back home. It was lovely and refreshing, and helped me look within to ask myself what I wanted to do with my time this fall. As you may know, planning and reflection are important steps to success.
Since I switched to the five year plan in my Naturopathic medical program, my schedule has gradually been getting lighter. The fall quarter began this week, and it is my lightest quarter yet! Woohoo!! I am excited! 🌅
Summer has bid farewell and fall is well on its way. This felt like a perfect time to reevaluate my goals, where I stand, and what I want to focus on to point me in the right direction. I am expanding my horizons, learning new things, taking big action steps, and will be sharing more as things are ripe and ready.

The fact I can’t remember a scale ⚖️ saying number in these orders 156.6 lbs, is why I’m sharing this! Haven’t been this size since like 10-12 years old. I’ve battled my weight my whole life to the point of having not 1 but 2 weight loss surgeries (FYI: lap-band had to be removed due to complications and under removal was given the gastric sleeve)! With the surgeries I was able to lose a great deal of weight, but the thing is I fixed 1/2 the problem, I was only in-taking very little food (all bad stuff). I mean lil I’m talking about a bite or two per meal (everyone around could vouch) I’d go on major workout binge and wouldn’t lose shit. I’ve spent $1000’s over years on gyms, diet products, and ever fad diet on the planet 🙋🏽♀️I’ve tried. I could never get below 170lb.🤦🏾♀️The fact that I’ve been a 🌱(Alkaline for the most part) for 21 days today and only started to add workouts yesterday and I’m the healthiest I’ve ever been in my life, seriously; is more than Amazing. This is proof and facts the food I was eating was affecting my body’s chemical make up since I was a child, and once I made the conscious decision to stop eating everything that was killing me slowly to try and revert the damage I taught my daughter with changing my actions and hoping she’ll follow! This has been truly a life changing decision and I’m thankful I started to change the way I thought and the things I believed in! #agingbackwards#veganlifestyle#livingmybestlife#mindbodysoul

I forgot my headphones... Now that may seem insignificant to most but to me it's a big deal. I lost my favorite sunglasses a few weeks ago, I didn't have my headphones and today was an extremely stressful day (most Tuesday nights are). I had such a difficult time regulating, I was so overly stimulated today. At this moment I'm laying on my couch decompressing with some things that make me feel better. I'm under a warm fluffy blanket with a full belly watching sum good shows. It's truly embarrassing not being able to self sooth and to be overly stimulated but it's my life at times, it's my sons life. I'm happy I'm home and in an environment where I feel safe, it's comforting and I'm thankful for the supportive environment here at home ❤️❤️... I share cause I care and I know I'm not the only one like me ❤️❤️ #autism#autismgotagirllike

Happy people are kind, compassionate and so needed in this world ✨ the past 12 months have brought a break up, a boudoir shoot, a car accident, terrible dating experiences, growth, lessons, a career that I love, new people in my life that have brought value, and a healthier mind, body and spirit. I walked away from every obstacle, hiccup, bad experience knowing I was a good person, true to myself and had my integrity intact. I pushed through ever damn struggle and I worked for every damn win. The "regulates periods" one is the craziest. A real period is an ovulatory cycle in which ovulation occurred and wonderful progesterone was made. In contrast, the pill works by shutting down ovarian function and inducing a kind of chemical menopause. And then replacing your own wonderful progesterone with substandard steroid drugs like levonorgestrel which alter the shape of your brain.

This last week has been weeeeird.. Messy head means less sleep so less training so less food, and overall less upward momentum.. I know it'll pass soon and I'll be back to normal (or even better, struggles to strengths etc etc) but in the meantime I tend to withdraw while I wait it out coz I know anything I perceive rn will be filtered through the distorted lens of a sulky ego, and no thank you to that 😂😂 So since the exterior is on hold for a bit while I focus on the interior I'll just throw it back to my first day learning the Flatline ❤ Flow and form adjustments will come in the near future once I'm back in balance 💪😘

Day 3: I accepted a #30daydancechallenge with @sacredorgasmicdance. This is to help me reconnect to my flow 🌀and sacral 🧡power that I felt has diminished after becoming a mommy. Notice my end of summer core and all it’s fluff! I managed to hit my weight loss goal earlier this year and got complacent with my lower than usual activity level recently. I’ve accepted new challenges that are non physical in my personal life and have needed the extra boost of self love through dance to help me stay balanced #mindbodysoul. This #sacredorgasmicdance challenge came at the right time to help me look deeper and feel more. .
The story: It was getting late in the day and a headache was creeping in. I thought about the challenge I had committed to so I walked down to the beach to get a mini yoga session in. The headache I had a made me reevaluate my need for caffeine and my dependence on it. So flowing to the house beats of @monolinkmusic live from Fusion Festival 18’ was so chill. I filmed my entire flow, but only included the playful end to my practice. No headache after a well needed session and a few inversions. Btw do you know how good it feels to be inverted? .
