When your search for good lighting turns your cat into [even more of] a demon 😂 .
Started off strong on W E E K 2 of my 20 minute program! Some takeaways from W E E K 1:
• I feel like a different human-being when I fuel my body with nutrient dense foods (last week was lots of bananas, celery, brown rice, turkey, cauliflower, peanut butter, broccoli, green beans, chicken, and Brussels sprouts to name a few) and don’t deviate from plan!
• 20 minutes can definitely feel like “enough” of a workout 😅 Don’t underestimate the power of the step and @shaunt • It’s all a mental game. How hard you push, how fast you go, how bad you want it — it’s all up to YOU in those 20 minutes to DIG DEEPER and find what makes you tick!
You can + should be making more money AND making an impact.
I always wanted to help people. That's why I went into social work.
But I got bills to pay too.
And a shitload of student loan debt to repay.
You deserve to not struggle. And helping people shouldn't mean you have to.
Build an income + an impact at the same time.
My mentor @ericaburkhardt has changed 900+ lives in only a year.
And she's given me the greatest gift in the world. She taught me how to recognize my own gifts + believe in myself.
She's the kind of leader I aspire to be and dare I say it, that I'm becoming 😄
There's room for you at our table. Just drop us a comment and let us show you the way.
Finally got a good afternoon ski in today. Checked out Harms Woods in Skokie.
It’s been about 3 years since I’ve been cross country skiing due to lack of snow.
Saw a really bright sun dog in the sky, which is what you’ll see me photographing with my phone. I spliced in that photo to this video, but they never look as brilliant on film as they do in person when you’re lucky enough to see one.
I’m going to feel sore tomorrow, but I’m feeling happy and relaxed. Nature sure is wonderful.
My last trip to Missouri was in the fall when we ventured to Excelsior Springs. Oh, the food and drinks, you guys! So now I’m daydreaming of another trip to @visitmo and I’m wondering where to next? I’m thinking further south, like, Ozarks area. Any tips on where to go? I’m looking for some place with great outdoor adventures and good food.
Not going to lie... I bought this planner on Saturday 😂. That being said, it’s not too late to start making goals for the new year and for yourself! I don’t say this to sound preachy ^^^ it is something I’m working on! My top priority for #2019 is letting the people I love know how much they mean to me and to invest more time in showing them how grateful I am.
