I carved out a little time late tonight to unbox the Certiflat Welding Table I purchased recently. I was fully planning on putting the tab and slot “ribs” in place on the table top and getting them tightened down with clamps and U-bolts and I was going to weld it all together in the morning....then I open the box and I’m like, wait...what?? To my surprise, the ribs had already been welded in place! I thought we were supposed to weld them ourselves, but I’m not complaining!! 😄 I still test-fit the legs and braces and man oh man, this thing could NOT piece together any better. Absolutely perfect fit and I can’t wait to weld the legs to the top (I’ve already got a couple mods in mind to help my workflow).
I also must say, I thought I had an idea of what wheels were coming with my kit and what I had in mind was lower quality. The wheels that actually come with the kit are much better than I thought they’d be! 👍🏻
I’ll get these legs and wheel mount pieces welded up soon and have some more pics to share, but for now I’d say if you’ve been looking for a welding table or have been on the fence about getting one, I can say based on my experience so far, you won’t be disappointed.
Oh! Also...mine is a custom size (30x48) and it was super easy to order a size that worked for my needs 👍🏻. More pics soon!
Bit of a late post for valentine's day and while most were doing a different kind of reeming after spending tons of money to get to that point 😉, I was doing some much cheaper reeming using a new Accusize 3/4" bridge reemer. 😀 Yes I did just refer to that but I claim no responsibility for your mind going in the gutter. 😏 Found this on Amazon for just under $40 and sizes go all the way up to 2" plus. The pic is prior to starting as yes proper lubrication was used with the proper speed etc etc. Safety 3rd or is that 8th? 😀 Much quicker than changing bits when you can go from 1/2" to 3/4". S&D bits are ok but the outer edges take the most beating so my thoughts were try something different that can be used in the drill press and with a drill. It cuts like butter and aside from the intentional puns, adding one of these to your tool collection may just save you a bunch of time and hassle over other methods of punching holes. #andrewsweldingfab#metalworking#welding#fabrication#bridgereemer#valentinesday#punsintended#innuendos#humor#getyourmindoutofthegutter#musthave#accusizetools#toolsofthetrade#wishihadthissooner

SHAKTI AND SHIVA BEAD
This is number 2/10 Ltd. Edition, sterling silver. I based this little sculpure on tje many temple carvings in India. The mythology of these two, Shakti and Shiva is wonderful and worth some study. I bordered the sides of this bead with a vine representing the tree of life. On the reverse side I carved a water lily using the form of a lotus flower for the bloom. I have sold one of these in sterling and one in bronze. Both of the people who purchased those are therapists and keep their bead in their work area. #Shakti # Shiva #handmade#metalworking
