We're super excited for what's coming!!! Finally — a mural's going to grace our studio wall again after years! Here are some behind-the-scenes shots of what went on earlier today. It's a meeting of colours, textures, patterns, and layered fabrics inspired by natural landscapes (including Naoshima Island, Japan). We're looking forward to the energy it's going to bring to the studio, during our classes or just in the day to day. The mural's still in progress so stay tuned for more photos to come! Thank you @mrydette for doing your thing 🎨☺️👩🏻🎨 #sewfunsg
Good morning sunshine ☀️ ⠀
This is the first photo taken in my new, still in progress, studio. The windows are bigger and the light floods in like nowhere else in our house especially in the mornings.⠀
I’m hoping that my plants will be happy here! Also it is amazing the effect the light has on the yarn shades, not strange though but still so interesting!⠀
Hoping to get some work done today as soon as the kids go to their grandma, there are tutorials that need to be done! How are you guys getting on with your butterflies? See so many everyday and it just makes my heart sing. If you’ve missed our first ever CAL head over to @sistersinstitch for more information. We would love to have you join 🤗⠀
Wishing you all a calm and pleasant Sunday 🦋🌱⠀

Sewing challenges! Do you love them? Can’t wait for the next one? Do you feel stressed or pressure to participate? I’d love to know either way.
I first dipped my toes in with #memademay and I loooved it. It felt like such a window into the IG sewing community. I discovered so many wonderful sewists to follow and draw inspiration from.
The challenge itself was a great way to identify holes in my me-made wardrobe - while also motivating me to get my sewing plans out of my head and onto my sewing machine! So satisfying.
That said, I’ve seen lots of people post about not meeting their own expectations for keeping up with challenges etc. If this was you, I hope you can give yourself some grace.
I’d love for the IG sewing community to be one you turn to for inspiration, motivation and support.
So if you ever need or want to reach out, let’s chat. I’m allllways up for a chat!
