Good Sunday job out in Seville today! After drilling the holes for the H section a couple weeks back Brian got me back to transport and lift the concrete sleepers into place with the grabber attached to the kanga arm as some of them needed to be lifted around 1.5m high. Then went on to irrigate and backfill behind wall with 20m Scoria 👍 #retainingwalls#kanga#landscaping#yarrahvalley#melbournelandscapes
Sedum blue pearl making their way amongst the gorgeous copper and green tones. Looking forward to their cluster of bright pink flowers attracting all the 🐝& 🦋

Stunning display of colour today thanks to this herbaceous perennial Salvia microphylla hot lips. Which flowers for most of the year and doesnt mind a hard prune in winter and can tolerate hot, dry periods once established.

The baby Ginkgo tree at our CT1 house is very well looked after @herbertandhowes
A shaded and lush private pathway, protected by dense overhead canopy trees on this residential property. Great to provide a private green space whilst encouraging habitat and protection for local wildlife. The benefits of trees on our sites should never be underestimated as the benefits far outweigh the negatives.
An early sketch of our light box house depicts the deliberate simplicity of the floating cube like form.
Construction for this project has been speedy so hoping to share completed images early next year

After a small break, we are back at our Q9 project designing a new outdoor area.
Although it’s only been a short while, we were delighted to see the garden looking so full and lush
We enjoyed creating this outdoor space that will provide shade and privacy from neighbouring properties whilst the underplanting of lush evergreens and perrenials will provide colour and interest throughout all seasons and attract beneficial species.
A space for all of the family and friends to enjoy summer. This large pool features an elevated spa from the level above which allows the water to cascade down into the deep blue fully tiled pool below, topped off with granite paving and copers and buffalo lawn.
I have maintained this garden for many years now and adore the embrace given to the existing trees and planting. I encourage anyone to embrace the natural elements around their pool and landscape and use it to enhance their experience and aesthetics not to do away with them which is common.
Who wants to stare at blank walls and yuccas whilst lying on a daybed anyway!?
