Sweet victory never tasted so good! It was cold & I was sick but I raced anyways. I’m so glad that I did! Mind over matter, and friends to help me push through the course. It was so much fun and I can’t wait for my next race!

I miss racing. I haven't been able to train much since the beginning of the year. I've only been able to go to CrossFit once a week or every other week, and go on trail runs on the weekends...or some weekends not at all. It's driving me bonkers.
My career has me working 12-13 hour days with a schedule that moves around week to week making it really hard to plan ahead and have a life outside of work. It is what it is, but at the same time...I sometimes question why I even do what I do anymore when a lot of people are watching tv and movies on devices with shitty speakers (laptops, iPads, Beats by Dre headphones/earbuds, etc...)
Anyways, I will return to form at some point. Hopefully, around late Spring/early Summer. One thing's for sure, no one's gonna stop me from shredding Dodger Stadium again in August!!! I have something ridiculous planned for it, which hopefully @sac_af68 and @rynesworld will join in on. 🏋🏾♂️🏃🏾♂️
Finally have an answer to why my knee has been hurting for about a year, more so last 5 months. So, I got my knee examined. X rays revealed I have some advanced arthritis. So no running for me. I just got a shot in my knee and can get one every three months to help ease discomfort, but bone spur is poking my ligament under my knee cap, that's why it hurts when I put weight on it. It's in both knees but right is more progressed than left. ☹. Well, it could be worse and it actually WILL get worse as with my left hip sitting higher, my right takes the impact harder and faster than the left AND since I ripped my calf last year and have permanent muscle damage, my right side is in bad shape and going down a slippery slope. Dr also said that's why my back right muscle is always tight and hurting as it's working harder than the left side. --------------------------------------
