Questions you asked about this bump 🤰🏼 1. How far along are you?
Well, we are due between March 25th and April 1st! So somewhere between 25 and 26 weeks!
2. Was this pregnancy planned?
Uhhh it absolutely wasn’t 🤔 I was studying and working towards my career goals and Mitch was waiting for a vasectomy. ✂️ Mitch just brought me a new car (a Ford Focus Hatch Back) and it was so small that another car seat was not gunna happen in that car, we really were set up for 2 kids and that’s it. But we have the emotional and financial means to raise another little bean so why not 🤷🏼♀️ 3. Names?
We have some names picked out, and I have some I luuurve but Mitch hates so we’ll see what happens.🤔 4. Do you want a quick labour?
I hope not! I’d love a healthy length labour! Preferably around 8 hours, I’d be happy with between 8 and 16 hours.
5. Will I be sad if it’s a boy?
I’m going to raise them the same way regardless so it doesn’t really change a lot of it is a girl, or boy. I would love a daughter but it doesn’t really matter.
I’ll answer anymore asked in my DMs and comments. 💫

Motherhood is so breathtakingly beautiful to me. There’s a glow all mothers have... and I dont think it’s just hormones. Whether you’ve carried your child for 9 (let’s face it, almost 10 sometimes) months or you’ve carried the hope of adopting, there’s a glow. It’s that love for a child. It’s that aching in our hearts when we’re away from them. It’s the worry and tears (of Joy and sadness) and fear of time speeding up. It’s the fierce protectiveness that forever lies under the surface smile from the day that baby shows up on the scan. It’s the excitement of first steps, first teeth, first smile!
Motherhood is so beautiful to me. And that’s why I am constantly wanting to shoot it. (Daddy’s, don’t get me wrong, I love fatherhood too! I’m jus talking about the mammas tonight.) @photovisionprints | maternity session for @bluerosepictures
How is your postpartum going?
How was your postpartum experience?
Empower all mighty mommies, share your story.
Postpartum depression is a condition diagnosed in mothers—birth mothers, specifically coming home from the hospital after giving birth and feeling that something is off. That the joy they thought they should be feeling is nowhere to be found. While hormonal changes associated with birth can play a role, according to the Mayo Clinic, hormones are just one risk factor that also includes sleep deprivation, lifestyle, and environment. All of these other factors can affect any new parent. And they do.
Research shows “postpartum” or early parenthood depression occurring in all kinds of parents—biological, nonbiological, adoptive, gay, or straight.
Remember mommies, you are a mighty mommy. The best way to parent is when you parent your own way.

Had the cutest maternity session with the Mackai family today! These two and their pups braved a chilly -6 degree temperature. They kept me laughing the whole time. Here are some sneak peeks of their session. Enjoy!
