What's better than the weekend!? A FOUR day weekend.
What makes it even better is we head to Ireland tomorrow, bright and early! Devin couldn't be more excited since this was one of his top 3 places he wanted to go. If anyone knows any must see places to go, let us know!! #frankfurtgermany
God is crazy.
Well, God’s not crazy. But, his love and pursuit of us is crazy.
I think sometimes we imagine God has this rigid man who wants us to say some fancy religious prayer so we can cross some mysterious eternal line. And then, once we’ve said “the prayer”, he just kind of sits back and watches our behavior until we die and float into the clouds with him.
This, by the way, is not at all the God we read about in the Bible.
The God of the Bible doesn’t just save people, he continues to save people. He didn’t just care once, he keeps caring. He doesn’t just pursue once, he keeps pursuing.
At this very moment, God is actively at work to pursue your heart. Day and night, he is relentless in his great love and redemption.
And the crazy part?
He told us to love our wife like that.
God wants us to chase down our wife with the same kind of relentless love that he chases us down with.
Not once. But always.
Life is crazy. Work is crazy. Kids are crazy. But there is no earthly relationship that demands more of your attention at this moment than your spouse.
And here’s some good news: when you love your wife with that kind of relentless love, you’ll give your children a glimpse of God’s love for them that no devotional could ever teach.
10 years sure goes by fast. I resisted the 10 year challenge on social media until today. Honestly, I couldn’t even FIND a picture on my phone that went back to 2009. I had to....wait for it.....go to my... desktop computer- (gasp). Do those still exist? Yes, they sure do. 😉🖥 My husband and I are photo-aholics. We have an obscene amount of photos for just 23 years of marriage. Up until 2013, we still took our “big camera” on every trip; to every sporting event; to every band concert and certainly took it to all of our family gatherings. We pulled out the tripod. Set it up and clicked our “selfies” with a timer rushing back to get in place before the timer went off. Most of our pictures were all still printed at Walgreens and I did creative memory scrapbooking.
Who else remembers that? I loved it. I still love those books. But now, our photos are all digital. We have more pictures on our phones and now-when I get to it- I do digital scrapbooks.
What about you? Do you go “old-school” with photos or take pictures on your phone.?

#10yearchallenge Time flies when you’re having fun! The adventures we have been through over the last 10 years have been incredible. Through the ups and downs, I am honored to be with this incredible man through it all. Cheers to the next ten years! 🥂 #marriedlife#lifeisgood#godisgreat
"Mario dreamed that he had married a woman. Not just any woman- but the sweetest, kindest, most beautiful woman in the universe, who had long, golden hair, rosy red lips, and a soft, gentle personality. He woke up, and realized his dream had come true. That same amazing woman in his dream was holding him tight. It was a beautiful thing to wake up to in the morning, in Mushroom Kingdom." ☀
This moment talking to a Swiss guard at the Vatican formally requesting tickets to attend the opening of the Synod was incredible. My husbands commentary is even better sound on.
It wasn’t anything special, tour guides had them, the Vatican will mail them to you, but as a Catholic this moment was so exciting, to actually talk to a Swiss guard, and really it’s just the little things. The next day celebrating mass lead by the Pope was even more amazing. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
You can only go to the entrance one at a time. What you don’t see are the Italian police with barricades before the stairs with metal detectors and most visitors and guests don’t know they can share this moment too.
He had a beautiful accent, he called me madam, and he was beautiful. Swiss guards are dreamy. 🥰 I told my husband he rolled his eyes.
So if you’re ever in Rome and need tickets don’t hesitate! Such a cool, free experience!
Me and my boo going all the way.
You can come too you don’t gotta hate.
We emptied the tank like yes indeed.
Today’s workout was called Power. I’m impressed with how many moves using the step @shaunt has come up with. 😳 I can’t tell you how many times we said “wtf Shaun?!” Or “F no!” Lol
But in this workout I remembered all the times I walked away from what was hard or uncomfortable and gave up on the blessing or the growth. Not this time!
I’m leaning into all of it! Embracing every struggle, telling myself one freaking more! You can do this! You can handle it!
Day 4, you were tough, but we still POWERed through. 💪🏽
The hubby laughed at me last night when he got home from work and I begged him to take me to the grand opening of @lidlus in Powder Springs last night. He said getting so excited about a grocery store officially makes me over the hill. Whatever! He wasn’t laughing this morning as we enjoyed 70 cent muffins + cold pressed tangerine juice that tastes like it’s straight from the gods. If you haven’t been yet...run don’t walk! It’s truly amazing!
I don’t have a current and my ex has me blocked so 🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️🤷🏽♂️

In case you haven’t heard it before or you need the reminder or to just hear it loud and clear today, I wanted to let you know that EVERYTHING you ever need to reach your goals and to be your best is inside of you already. No one can give it to you. No one can take it away.
Today is day 4- power. Every Thursday for the next 6 weeks, we are reminded that we have Thai power inside of us and we are challenged to tap into that power and tap into our potential to show up as the best version of ourselves. In order to do so, the moves get more complex and increase to a minute long.
I was serious when I told you that this program focuses so much on the mental transformation. And I am serious when I tell you that the physical always follows the mental!!!! Only 4 days in and I can feel the transformation happening mentally and physically as I write this. Look in the mirror today. Remind yourself that you have EVERYTHING you need inside of you. The power and the potential is waiting g for you to tap into it to reach your goals and truly live to your fullest potential.
I have had a few friends that have been watching me this week and have committed to starting their day 1 on Monday. It’s not too late for you to jump in and join. It might just be life changing and be the thing to unlock that power!!
Got almost all of my to-do's for the entire weekend done today, so tonight I relax in my happy place: our backyard on the porch. "And for one brief moment in time, the waves were calm, the sea beckoned a swim, and the world saw a peace it so longed for." #ChristmasLights#AllYear
