What a beautiful spot to park the car and watch sunset. One of my fav places in the world and I get to call it home.
I have been extremely fortunate to be born in Western Australia and have this as my playground as a child and now return after spending years living overseas. It gives you a different sense of appreciation for a place when you’ve explored many others.
I can’t help but think .. where to next ? 😉🙌🏻
Sshhh a little secret!!!🤫☺️

The hardest part about living abroad is being away from loved ones, especially these two. Dad informed me that from where they live in Arkansas is 10,690 miles to Perth. Exactly halfway around the world at the equator from NWA is 12,450 miles. I’m just about as far away from home as I possibly can be. Some days I really love living abroad. I feel a strong sense of independence, courage, and ease. Other days, I want nothing more than to be home, surrounded by loved ones and familiarity/comfort. To get a big bear hug from my dad or go out to lunch for girl time with my mom. These two are the base of my longing to be back in Arkansas... and my little puppy. Not only are they my parents but as I continue to get older, our relationship shifts and flows to meeting one another more so as people, rather than parent/child. The love, support, and commitment that they share with me is something I hold with great value. To travel for 38 hours across the world and spend 10 days in Perth just to have time together.. my heart swells. No amount of words, thank you’s, or actions can encompass what they mean to me. What that meant to me. It went by way too quickly and I sobbed walking back to my house after saying goodbye. But it makes you cherish the times you do get to spend together in so much more depth. These two are my people. And I am grateful. Thankful. In Awe. And just happy. || Margaret River
