For those of you who know little or nothing about recording, the tick-tock sound is called a metronome. It is designed to keep us in time while we record our parts. In this case the Acoustic guitar. This song is coming along nicely. It’s now got bass, drums, electric guitars (acoustic as you can hear) and lead vocals.
For the nerds, I’m using a Maton 808 Acoustic guitar. Mic’ed up with a 1974 Neumann U87 mic, through a Manly Vox Box Tube preamp and a real 1176 compressor.
Milk and honey baby
Very happy with this one 😃 #recording#newmusic#independent#mystudio#neumann#u87#manleyvoxbox #1176 #maton@firstname.lastname@example.org@manleylabs@universalaudio#voxac30

We love throwing vocals through some rich tube goodness. We’ve had our Manley VoxBox’s for years and they just never let us down!
