Pink makes my heart happy. And reflecting back on our weekend, my heart is sparkling all shades of pink. Yesterday was massive as we had 6 different weddings in the Manawatu/Whanganui area.
Can’t believe how far my little Manawatu business has come, but there is absolutely no way we would be in this position without my amazing team. So proud of our super talented Emily who nailed her first event last night. Hazel + Tam, you beauties are the most amazing tech support crew (who offer to be on-call even when they are meant to be having the weekend off with their families 😙).
How lucky am I! And how lucky are our clients!
We had very successful first Whanganui Herb Group gathering today visiting Megan's Garden where she grows culinary flowers. We got to taste a wide variety of flowers and then had a herbal feast with French Tarragon water, perfect for the hot weather. Our next gathering will be to the herb farm in Ashhurst and another property which I've heard is fabulous. If you want to join us search for the group on Facebook. #whanganuiherbgroup#herbgroup#whanganui#wanganui#manawatu
The Milson Scout Troop of Palmerston North are on board with making New Zealand Predator Free. The group of around 30 Scouts are getting stuck in to ridding New Zealand of invasive predators!
Early last year the Scout Troop started a predator trapping project in the Manawatu Gorge Scenic Reserve. Twelve months, 94 rats, 14 stoats, a few possums later the Scout Troop are celebrating their success.
