Please read and share Erin's heartfelt post 💙⬇ I wasn’t going to post anything about this but after seeing the heartbreak that the events of this week has caused to so many How can I now?
It saddens me to think that there are people in life that feel that taking their own life is the only way out of how they are feeling; when in fact this isn’t the case at all. There are many options for people who are experiencing suicidal thoughts if only people were less scared to talk about them.
In recent years it has been found that men have a higher rate of taking their own lives as they don’t feel as though they have the ability to talk to anyone. The two pages below are specifically for that reason! Paul who runs the males allowed page I know personally and I know he has great passion for raising the awareness for men especially but others as well suffering with mental health issues. He has personal experience with this and is so willing to help anyone that needs it. Even friends and family of Matt and Kyle who may need support at this time.
In addition to this my mum, Debbie, shares much of the same passions as Paul and a lot of us but it also trained in how to deal with the grief and loss after a heartbreaking event such as this. I know for a fact that her inbox and door is always going to be open!
I really do send my dearest condolences to the family, friends and others who knew Matt and Kyle and wish them peace at this time. From what I knew of Matt he was an absolute cracker of a guy and I’m sorry to think that he had no other way out of how he was feeling. He is definetly going to leave a massive hole in people’s lives! 💙
We need to break the stigma and help the people out there suffering but especially those out there suffering in silence!
Stay safe all, my door is always open. 💖💙 #malesallowed#itsoknottobeok#reachout#staysafe#mentalhealth#awareness#stigma#suicideprevention#mentalhealthawareness#speakup#malevoice#depressionquotes#depression#stress#itsoktotalk
