Cute enough to go out in...cozy enough to stay in and take care of sick kiddos...
We are on week two of the sickies going through our house. Ugh!! Anyone else dealing with this?! .

〰️Laced Up Grey One-Piece〰️
• Grey lycra- S$7 for 1m, Arab Street
• Black round elastic- S$3/10m, Textile Center
1. I used a leotard to trace out the shape of a one-piece. Cut back and front pieces for both inner and outer layers. Add seam allowances.
2. Sew the back and front pieces of each layer together at the crotch
3. I made this bra pad pouch from the scraps. I didn’t have enough material so i had to stitch two pieces together. Fold the raw edges of the top and bottom over and sew. You can leave the sides, we will deal with that later.
4. Sew the bra pad pouch with the raw edges facing the right side of the inner layer. Sew the top and bottom. Leave the sides and the 2 angled slots open.
5. Using an opened bikini bottom as a template, clean up the edges of the leg holes and crotch area
6. Video: Line the two layers up right sides together. Sandwich the loops and straps between the layers before sewing them together.
7. Video: once it is turned inside out, the layers and loops should have their right sides facing out. Sew elastic on the leg holes and back piece on the inner layer to keep everything snug.
Day 13 Process Insight #21daysinmyartworld@taraleaver I did actually do a little video for this one, but the baby kept trying to eat art supplies and the bigger kids kept screaming at each other. So I won’t be posting that video. 😂 My process, well its a little all over the place. I do what I can, when I can. I’m on my own with three kids most of the time (husband works away) so it’s quiet tricky fitting in drawing time somedays. Five minutes here, 30 minutes there. I do like to have two or three works on the go at one time. I don’t work from one corner to the next, I prefer to do little spots here and there until it forms a face. That’s probably not the ‘right’ way to do it but that’s how I’m going to do it!
Do you check your most saved posts?
This is one of our most saved posts ever; I always check our saved posts to see what you’re saving of our content.
Why is it so important to look back and see what your audience is saving?
What can these saved posts tell you?
If your audience is saving posts from you they are keeping that content around for later for some reason. Maybe you shared an inspirational quote or a how to or you it’s a particularly gorgeous picture of your work. This lets you know what your audience is looking for! What type of content it your audience keeping around for later?
Sometimes you can only guess why (maybe they liked the pic? Maybe they liked the how to in the caption?) people have been saving a photo, but more often than not you get why right away! You know that’s exactly in your tribe’s wheel house.
To check and see if your audience is saving your posts, you first have to have a business account. Then check your insights>content>see all> Tap the blue words at the top of the screen and scroll to choose saved posts.

@mrtuttz acquired a mid-century television of unknown level of operation and within hours it's already hooked up to a RaspberryPi.
Something like this:
Pi --> Linux --> TV modulator --> coax --> antenna. Power modulation on a vari/ac so we don't blow anything up
It’s National Hat Day! I love cozy hats! ❤️ I especially love them in cold weather, like what my area has been having. Brr!!
As we start a new year, I want to hear from you. Y’all know I love designing some awesome character and themed hats. Would you like to see some new character designs this year? Kid or adult sizes? More “basic” hats? Chunky hats? Pom, no pom? What do you like? 😁

Sometimes when I paint, I feel a connection to an ancient language of navigating our soul.
That voice tells me there's a different way. The way I see it done, with many egos driving the message, is just an experiment of how things are done. And, there's wisdom that's been around way longer then any of us can imagine.
That wisdom language lives in each of us. It calls us home over and over and shows up to guide us the way, even if we ignore her for years.
