Got a few of these little friction fit boxes/pots drying on the shelf.
Been fun turning them from leftover cup material and explore some shapes and ideas.
Will be offering them up fpr sale once they are ready to go in a few days.
Burnt orange is such a pretty colour! This hand knitted blanket is available in the shop at the moment
A weathered heart made more beautiful by the waves, the barnacle scars, and the sunshine in life.
- It has been a challenging season for me. A season of feeling a little lost, a little angry, a little confused, and a lot humbled. Today my heart has been battling with forgiveness, and it's something I've been battling with internally for months. When we were told we would have to leave our home of three years, it hurt, and I was angry. On another level my heart broke for our landlord, a great man who was struggling in his own way about asking us to leave. The internal battle of those emotions still sits with me from time to time, but time does heal, and so does the love from a supportive husband, a beautiful daughter, and welcoming family. And though faced once again with a heart that hurts, I remember that I am imperfect, yet HE forgives me each and every day. -
-"Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."-Colossians 3:13
- So when I sat down not knowing what to paint, this driftwood was the reminder I needed of love, of healing hearts, and of forgiveness. 💛
I made this cute little lopsided thing 💚
It’s imperfect and a little messy and woven with so much Love and so many prayers
I’m thinking of making a little lid for it that hinges and a clasp to keep it closed. What do you think? Lid or open vessel?

How freaking amazing are these Georgian Bay charcuterie boards by @backwooddesignco! Such beautiful works of art that look like waves rolling over a sandy beach. It’s one of the most beautiful things we have ever seen! Be sure to check out their work on their Instagram. You’ll be as enamoured as we are. 🌊
At first I really wanted to wait and have everything polished and ready to go before I relaunched but the reality is that I’ve been so quiet on here because everything I’m doing right now, involves the relaunch, so I couldn’t share, so this morning I decided to bring you all along instead. So yep, Kim Roach Design is now Happy Sappy Mail and I couldn’t be prouder. I hope you all follow along with me as I relaunch my company. Stay tuned for more updates soon.
