Say hello to the Lamborghini SC18 ALSTON - the very first one-off model built by marque's motorsport division, Squadra Corse.
Lamborghini Squadra Corse took the covers off their new road legal, track-ready hypercar at a private event in Rome earlier today. The car - which is built atop the basic underpinnings of the Aventador SVJ - has been completely redesigned in a partnership between Lamborghini's design and motorsport arms. The new carbon-fibre aerokit and intake system is heavily inspired by Squadra Corse's Huracan competition cars, meaning there's much more function behind the styling than one may first suspect. While the SC18 retains the standard Aventador headlights, the tail lights have been swapped for a pair of distinct LED bars just like you'd find on the Centenario. A brand new matt finish, named Grigio Daytona, has been developed specially for the SC18, and the red details throughout are very much reminiscent of the Sesto Elemento track car from 2011.
Though information is still fairly scarce (I will be posting more once more information becomes available), what are your initial thoughts on this new one-off model?
