Feeling great as I go into the 4th week of my 16 week challenge and gearing up for the next 4 weeks.
I am loving this challenge for so many reasons;
💪🏻I am feeling healthier & fit
💪🏻I have more energy
😴 I am sleeping better
💕I am in a good routine… for those who really know me, know I love routine!
💕I am setting intentions and opening my mind to learning more about my body and health.
👏🏻My clothes are feeling loose
I am so grateful for my health, my family, my job and doing what I love every day.
And, the BEST part is, I am not alone, I get to do this with some pretty amazing women! Thank you, ladies, for your accountability, your inspiration and support. ❤ ❤ ❤ #greatfriends❤️ #healthylifestyle#gratitude#nourishyourbody#loveyourself#selfcare#healthyhabits#movedaily#lovewhatyoudo#16weekisachallenge#isalife
I’ve been playing around with my magic coffee recently and have really been loving my new recipe.
Since I started using brain octane and ghee or cacao butter, I have been getting a lot of questions about my personal nutrition plan. Are you intermittent fasting ? Are you keto? Isn’t that so much fat? Do you not eat breakfast because of all those things you put in your coffee?
The answer is NO to all of them
I do not follow any specific diet or nutrition plan, I don’t macro calculate, and I don’t restrict. I try to fuel my body with REAL food, words I can understand and know what it’s doing to my body. I eat regularly throughout the day, but not on a real schedule. If I’m hungry I eat. I try to always have a balance of protein, veggies, healthy fats, and carbs. This way I feel satisfied and I know I am supporting my body for what it needs.
Everyone has different goals, different metabolic makeups, different likes and dislikes, different digestive systems, and different metabolisms. Nutrition is not a 1 thing fits all! Figure out what works for you.
This is one of the reasons I love what I do. Every day I get to help people figure out their road to health and wellness. Sometimes it’s trial and error and that’s ok.
What works for one client might not work for the next!
Think about what healthy means to you. Follow your own nutrition, health, and wellness path.
I tagged all the amazing brands that make my coffee possible!
“Hi Team Masia Casa del Mar,
OMG! What just happened?
We have no words to describe how sensational our wedding celebrations were… and a HUGE part of the love, joy and happiness was the venue and the team. You were perfection. A complete dream come true. The whole celebration was full of music and love and laughter, all set in the most stunning of settings.
We just wanted to let you know that we are forever thankful to you all for what you have just done for us. Please pass this message to everyone who was there over the two days who looked after us so well (including security, house keepers and the wonderful, wonderful Katy)
Our love, forever ever,
Andy and George xxx”
There are times where it feels as though because I’m a woman and a mother I’m not taken seriously in this business. Where some assume I was a bored housewife desperate for something to fill an ambiguous void. Where others praise me for my smarts in creating a bonus income to spend on frivolous things.
Then there are weekends like this last one, where each and every one of my sessions was filled with laughter and love on both sides of the camera. Those that I photographed were all kind, compassionate, understanding people who, though they might not understand all that goes into photography, respect my time and what I do. They express appreciation and gratitude that these moments in their lives are captured in an authentic way.
I adore doing this thing that I’m doing and am endlessly thankful for the amazing clients who come my way. It has always been important to me to try and be my own artist... seeing things simply the way I do, without attempting to follow in the path of or imitate others. There are those who follow, who copy. What is their message? I’m more interested in my own experience and that of my clients. It isn’t always smiles. Or conventionally pretty. .
I try to tell stories. Everyone has a story.
To my families from last weekend… here are some sneak peeks ❤ More coming your way soon!
Same person and within 24 hours of each other! Often I get comments saying I make this look easy, or how I look like I didn’t just have 3 kids. As much as I appreciate people being sweet, I also sometimes want to send a picture to them at the moment. My going on 2 days no shower, dirt on my face (yes everyday from gardening) screaming/crying at my kids, cleaning while my kids fight haha the list goes on. But everything you already can relate to right mamas?
I was going to post the picture on the left last night but as I was in the bathroom with my whole family (because Victoria pooping turns into a family affair lol) I looked at myself and thought this is really me. 95% of the time I’m in baggy clothes, not wearing anything to hold in my mom pooch (yes it’s still there😉) dirt all over, hair a mess, kids a mess and a shirtless husband 🤣 (yes, he’s always shirtless 🤤) I did this because I love coming across posts of women who post the whole this is me, but this is also me. It’s heart warming when you see other women show more then what is social media approved!
