Today’s run was not the best but that’s okay because I’m celebrating anyway with post run French toast 😀

Finally need two hands to show my miles!! I did 6 this morning, half a mile higher than my plan because I felt so good! This went way better than last weekend's hot, hungover 5 - thank goodness!! Came back and did 20 minutes of tough strength work, and am finally sitting down with some coffee and breakfast. I normally have done my long runs on Sundays, but am kind of liking doing it on Saturdays instead. Maybe I'll make the switch??
The #cvilletenmiler was epic!! 🤩 I had a blast running through this historically, beautiful town. With a slow start and a powerful finish I am riding a runners high! 💛 Each time I race I am overwhelmed by the passion and motivation shared between every single runner. I feel as if I can officially say I am a part of the runner community! God is good and I am #blessed! 🏃🏻♀️💕

8 tempo paced miles ✅✅
( okay maybe a bit faster than what should be my tempo pace for the #hansonsmarathonmethod but I felt AMAZING!). Whenever I see these workouts I’m always like oh my gawddddd how is this going to happen?! I mean I haven’t slept later than 4:30 am the past three days and don’t know what time zone I’m in 😂✈️ I got home from work, ordered a small iced americano and put in work! Happy this training is already showing results! I broke a 10k record with this run.. absolutely incredible!
🍀 Week In Review 🍀
With 76 miles, this is a new weekly mileage PR for me! It’s taken me over 14 years of running to be able to safely reach this volume, the last 4 of those years working with a coach. As a morning runner, I wasn’t thrilled about losing all my light this week, but I powered through. At least it wasn’t snowing or freezing rain, which I will likely have to contend with next week.
🍀 Monday: 14.2 miles including 10 at tempo. I ran 4 miles, 3 miles, 2 miles, 1 mile at paces that averaged out to 6:50, with 4-minute recovery jogs in between.
🍀 Tuesday: 11.6 miles at 7:44 avg.
🍀 Wednesday: 8.5 miles easy at 8:50 avg.
🍀 Thursday: 20 x 200m with 200m recovery jogs. The 200m intervals averaged out to 39 seconds each (5:15 pace).
🍀 8.4 miles easy at 8:57 avg. my legs were sore from the 200m workout!
🍀 19 miles at 7:35 avg, which included 15 at Marathon pace nonstop in the middle at 7:21 average.
🍀 5.6 miles recovery at 8:54 avg.
I’m on day 65 of my run streak, averaging 9 miles a day. Thankfully everything feels really good! Only 4 more weeks until Boston! 💙💛💙💛
