When I was in college I was really morphing my style to how it is today. That's entertaining to me because I didn't go to school for illustration, or graphic design. I actually went for sculpture (and worked in a lot of Taxidermy like work I never really did anything with) but I had a really big interest in Diamondback Rattlesnakes. They're the most venomous snake in North America and the Americas are the only places on earth you can find rattlesnakes. I think that's kind of cool. I really did not enjoy my college experience. My social life was hard, and the boys club in my school made it hard to get a constructive critique and it was really exhausting to know I was doing good exploration and work but not get credit for it in the sense I felt it was deserved. I hated the politics of my major, and I just wanted school to be over and get out into the world and work. It made me very angry, venomous, and upset and the hardest part was knowing I couldn't do anything about it. I just had to grit and bear it till I could position myself to do something better, and at the time I was in no such position. I graduated a year early with a Bachelor in the Fine Arts and then faked my way into my first graphic design job in Richmond VA. That lead me to starting my streetwear brand #DamagedKidsClothing moving me to Los Angeles, failing, then regrouping in Detroit to live in Chicago where I make a very lucrative living in commercial graphic design with more room to leverage myself and grow. I knew I would be here too. Just at the time I felt so much frustration all I could do was draw how I felt here and wait patiently for the time to strike.⠀
Incredible Kbbq sandwich with poached egg dip. I'm usually very weird with Korean fusion food - considering my mom was a chef. But how can anyone hate on one of the best bbq sandwich of all time? Oh also loved you guys on the show!

Happy Saturday! Sending you SoCal weekend vibes... Who's making a beach day out of it? Unfortunately not me! I'm heading to the farmers market for some goods for the week and then to the office to tackle a ton of work still left to do from the week💁🏼 I'm not complaining! Grateful to have work, but hope y'all are relaxing and enjoying this gorgeous day🌞🌴🍹
