Halfway through my first square, I'm thinking about making pom poms and making a norse rune blanket, maybe adding some pretty pagan symbols. I would just need enough pom poms to sew on each one to make the symbols! I think when I get the squares and symbolic pom poms sewed together and on I'll add black tassels to the outside of the blanket all the way around the border. Which gives me an idea and has my creativity flowing to do a Egyptian themed blanket in elaborate bright colors with the Eye of Horus and other ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs and along the tassels of it at each corner I'll add crystal quartz points and in between I'll thread on opal and lapis lazuli maybe black onyx and black obsidean beads, maybe some ox bone skull carved beads, instead of pom poms on it I'll use crystal or mineral beads on each square to form the egyptian hieoglyohs. It'll be elaborate and expensive and my comforter for my room.. ✂❤✂ #knit#knitting#loom#looms#loomknitting#knittedblanket#knittingalong#knittedsquareblanet#pompoms#pompomsymbols#tassels#Egyptian#norse#pagan#mycreativityisflowing

This is an oldie but a goodie! It’s a really pretty design made using only a loom (but with an interesting technique!)

Hi!! Sorry these pictures aren’t exactly the best, but I really wanted to post! I’m truly going to start focusing & managing my time better so that I will be able to be much more active this year :) it snowed (just a lil bit) for the first time in a long while here, so that’s pretty cool! (no pun intended lol) Also- a consistent theme? What’s that? Anyway, hope to see you all soon, thanks for reading this far!
Have a winterful day! ❄️ ☃️💙

Hung up some pieces on the wall. Hoping to have several more up there over the next few days. I love seeing how my style fluctuates with each piece; they’re all very special to me. Thanks for taking a look, xo Issy
Apologies for all the weaving content lately for those who don’t come here for that, but I’ve been on a productive kick and I’m totally taking full advantage. I had this large guy half finished on the loom for a few months and was stuck so hard. I felt dumb and made of bunch of stuff I hated and got real down. Eventually I found some thick vintage rusty yarn and that sort of broke my dry spell and reignited my love affair with fibers. Plus there’s this whole story about these pillows at a store close out sale at Pier 1 that made me crazy...but that’s a weird story for another time. Anyways, I’m intensely enjoying weaving things again, even with the frustrating and difficult parts. Plus I’m really glad to have finished this big guy and not have him mocking me on the loom anymore.

In coro, sicuramente, ci verrà quasi spontaneo dire LANA.
