I have been MIA since last spring so let me catch you up. I decided last spring I desperately wanted to spend some time with my kids so I took off part of the spring and summer to do just that. It was so needed and we loved every minute of it. But little did I know as I was deciding to take that leap to take some time off The Lord would lay on our heart a ministry opportunity. We took this time to pray on this opportunity. At the end of the summer we were burdened to commit to this opportunity and move to Missouri. Crazy I know!!!! Leave our family and friends. But we knew The Lord wanted us here. So in the fall we wrapped up some projects and got our Texas home ready to rent. And started looking for a home in Missouri. We found a home, rented our Texas home to the sweetest family, and packed up and moved 3 days after Christmas. Never will I move after Christmas again. 😂 We have been here 3 weeks and of course are doing a remodel. 😱. Hey that’s what we do. The photos above are from our laundry room in our Texas home. Oh how we miss that home. So much love went into that home. But excited to make our new house our home. I am going to do a much better job of taking y’all along this remodel. 😊 I am so thankful my husband can make my vision come to reality. If definitely helps on the budget when he can do it. This laundry room was not functional at all and things just piled up. We got to enjoy it over this past fall and we loved it. It became so functional and looked pretty too. 😉 #msinteriors#laundryroom#laundryroomgoals#shakercabinets#boardandbatten#vintagedoor#lockers#whitecabinets#woodfloors#storage#cubbies#lowes#parkhillcollection#target
I am glad that I discovered the Jeep YJ Wranglers with the square headlights.
Nobody seems to want them because they have leaf spring suspensions and square headlights.
I can buy them for cheap!
Then I toss in a coil spring suspension, a small block V8 with a four speed automatic with lock up and overdrive. Then I chrome moly the axle shafts and add locking differentials.
Once I finish with the body lift and 40-inch Irok tires, this YJ was still a LOT cheaper than paying for a round headlight TJ. Way cheaper! Next one will keep the stock 4 liter straight six and leaf springs. This coil suspension is too bouncy for the narrow trails.
And the majority of my time is spent at 800 to 1100 RPM, so no need for a V8. These are things we learn each time we build one.
Ok here it is! Ive had so many messages to see the inside. When i saw it for the first time it was not exactly how i thought it would be but i didn't get to see much before i drove down. Had to out the giant fuel tank across the floor and the radiator was in the truck all these years.
A different dash and engine bay harness came with the truck.
The story on this truck was that a guys dad is a well known diesel mechanic in Texas and it was brought to him to fix and the damage it had was a Gasser 460 engine fire. That from my diagnostic looks to be from the wiring harness and burned the bottom of hood and heated top to burn the paint. Didn't hurt firewall and didn't go inside truck.
The truck when built was a 460 with 5speed and a Vortech Supercharger. The story was a swap to a 97 era 7.3 PSD was underway and the engine trans and transfercase had been swaped in and have 50k miles on them and that it came from a truck that ran drugs for the cartel ( this makes me think of desert rally racing - beat to hell - lol) but i was told the gas tank was sectioned off to hold contraband and only held a very small amount of fuel as it had a small route it took.
No part of the 7.3 conversion was done besides removal of fuel tank and the double carrier bearing drivline was removed when it was wheel lift towwd by a big rig wrecker and no one took it with so that is missing.
Sadly when it was angled uo the traoler being towed up it started leaking oil and i realized the was no oil filter on it... Blue interior custom stlye leather seats. Little bit dirty inside the cab but will clean up
