Jacqueline from @the.mindfulpalette shared the cutest self-care doodle today and I just had to repost! (Thanks for allowing me to share this, Jacqueline!) Such a great reminder that self-care doesn’t have to be extravagant or cost a lot of money. It all starts from a small spark in your imagination ⭐️ then anyone can be an artist!
We are given unlimited opportunities to choose our own paths in this journey called life, if you are brave enough to pursue them. There is never really a "wrong" path; rather, what you choose is what's right for that moment in time. Don't be afraid to paint your own paths!
SOOO, if you caught my instastory 2 days ago you may have seen my killer surfer moves 🏄♀️(or falls 😂) while on vacay. Ever since I’ve had an extremely sore neck (to the point that I couldn’t bend it). Since I’m now home and have access to #alltheoils I’ve been using them regularly and am feeling better!!
Here’s my protocol:
Using Deep Blue Capsules (Polyphenol Complex) 2 times a day (with food).
I put my deep blue rub into my hand, add a drop of marjoram, massage it in and it's heavenly!
DōTERRA’s Deep Blue Polyphenol Complex delivers polyphenol extracts of frankincense, turmeric, green tea, ginger, pomegranate, and grape seed, and is designed to provide soothing support to aching muscles and to other occasional discomfort. I choose to take these since they’re all natural and I’m not comfortable taking Robaxacet.
Marjoram: helps relive tension in muscles and joint pain.
Deep Blue Rub: Think all-natural muscle tension rub (with amazing oils like wintergreen, helichrysum and peppermint) - cooling and tingling which feels amazing!! I can’t be without it during that time of the month ladies (lower back pain & cramps - GONE!) 💥
Want to experience Deep Blue Rub for yourself? PM and I’ll mail you out a sample! (I say this is THE product that converts most men into oil lovers 😍 since it helps so much with aches and pains 😉)
“I see your face
In every sunrise
The colours of the morning
Are inside your eyes
The world awakens
In the light of the day
I look up to the sky and say
I see your power
In the moonlit night
Where planets are in motion
And galaxies are bright
We are amazed
In the light of the stars
It's all proclaiming who you are
I see you there
Hanging on a tree
You bled and then you died
And then you rose again for me
Now you are sitting on your heavenly throne
Soon we will be coming home
When we arrive at eternity's shore
Where death is just a memory and tears are no more
We'll enter in as the wedding bells ring
Your bride will come together and we'll sing
You're beautiful 🙌🎵.” -Phil Wickham

Flashback to 2 years ago when I attended my first Super Saturday as a coach!
I was a new coach in this picture, didn’t know much about the community or the benefit of attending a live event. I was just told I should go, I brought a friend and found a community I had been missing.
I didn’t know that this event would lead to new friendships
I didn’t know that one of these women I would eventually road trip with halfway across the country. 🚙
I didn’t know one of these women would cut my hair & encourage me to find my inner bada$$ 👊🏻
I didn’t know these women would be a great resource to bounce ideas off about my fitness coaching business with. ✍🏻
I didn’t know these women would continue to inspire me. 🙌🏻 More importantly I didn’t know this community would be a bright spot in my life that would always get encouraged and supported to reach for more. That would always welcome me at events: whether in NY, Philly, Indy or FL.
If you are looking for a positive, supportive healthy community to join... join us tomorrow! It may be just what you are looking for... and more!

When I came to Morocco, it never even occurred to me to do a hot air balloon ride because I didn’t know those were offered there. You can imagine my surprise when I came upon this amazing opportunity to watch the run ride over Marrakech with a delicious fruit plate and all the juices my heart desires! Those views 😍

Do you realize how much time in our day we have to listen to something and learn?
Driving for example, instead of listening to the same song you’ve heard a dozen times (that day), check out a podcast and infuse inspiration, positivity or humor into your day.
My commute is about 15 minutes each way, and I listened to @brendonburchard “Accelerate your achievement this year”, it was a great episode with 5 steps to take if you want to end your year strong, focus on the important task and remember who might be counting on you. “When you clarify and prioritize, and when you take a list of 50 things down to 3 or 5, confidence comes back in, motivation comes back in, and focus comes back in.
It's all about focusing on your "Core 3" - the needle-movers in your life and business - at this time of the year! Also, consider this: "Significant growth is a way for you to prioritize and say ‘No’. I don’t want you taking on any new projects at this stage of the year if you don’t believe they’ll lead to real growth by the end of the year…” Do you have a goal you’d like to achieve before the end of the year?
One thing I didn’t know before I was a mom was how soul-sucking it would be. In amazing, wonderful, humbling, subtle, never-ending ways. Soul-sucking. Demanding. But not like “omg, kid, stop needing me,” but in like “omg I would legit bleed out for you I love you so much.” •
This soul time is crucial. I’m a mom, and a really good one. But I’m also a woman who’s allowed to wander around Target or get a pedicure or leave dishes in the sink for the night.
It is so ding-dang hard to leave though. To leave the dishes. Oh yeah, and the laundry I forgot to switch. To leave my baby snuggled up with my babe. To leave the constant physical and emotional demands that I LOVE to fulfill. •
BUT HEY. NOT TODAY, MOM GUILT. I can’t give if I ain’t got nothin to give. So I’m going on a Friday night date with Jesus. (Because jesus meets me where I’m at 🙌🏼) #momguiltfree#nomomomguilt
kinda loving these starter kit oil rollers & i guess you guys are too. today i’m sharing tummy, allergies & skin. dm or comment below which one(s) you want 🌻

Aging & the Brain Factor
As we age, the brain gathers rust like an old truck left in the rain. Free radicals induce damage to cells, DNA, and proteins in a process called oxidative stress. How do we keep the old truck running smoothly?
Eat more vegetables, about 1 to 2 pounds (5 to 10 cups) per day. Minimize refined carbohydrates. Avoid sugar and processed foods. Aim for a plate that is 80 percent vegetables and 20 percent protein. Omit refined carbohydrates. Eat limited real carbohydrates: starchy vegetables like squash and root vegetables, nuts, seeds, and tubers. Be sure to include prebiotics like asparagus, garlic, onion, jicama, green bananas, seaweed, and flax seeds.
In addition to an anti-inflammatory diet with lots of antioxidant Vitamin A, C & E, keep exercising regularly because it activates neurogenesis. Keep your blood sugar stable, and get restorative sleep, all of which can help to keep your brain ticking over nicely and reduce the risk of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease. ・・・

Metal Health Day! Took a day just to disconnect and reset. Self-care is taking a break from your normal schedule to do things you normally can’t do during the day. For me it was sleeping in, chilling in a coffee shop sipping some cold brew, writing down my vision statement and leisurely strolling around a park. Now it’s time to get ready for part B. What would you do if you took a mental health day? When was the last time you took one?
Often when we want something we tend to work TOWARDS it, to go look FOR it, like it is a thing you can have, loose or work to obtain it.
But often the things we really want deep inside, like love, abundance, succes, are things we have inside of us. It can never be gone, just forgotten.
When we remind ourselves that we already have it and then generate that energy inside of us, that is when it will manifest in our outerworld.
It is like looking for your sunglasses while all the time they were on your head.
So then it not becomes a road to (that what it is you want), but a road of... You are already on the road, you have just forgotten.
It’s no secret that my husband does not support my horse habit, financially or emotionally. I work hard to pay board, vet, and sometimes scrape up enough to show. These times I get to spend with “my kind” are priceless to me. My closest friends are people I met through horses. We all share the same “sickness”. I don’t get to do it often and I don’t get to talk about it at home when I do, but on days like today, I get to be who I was meant to be from start to finish, a mom AND a horse woman. #itswhoiam#horseshow#mom#ijustwanttoride#calvin#livingwell#hesappropriatelynamed
I love to workout, mainly for my mental health but the physical effects are good too 😜
I’ve got a personal trainer who I work really hard with, but recently I’m learning that it’s also important to work hard in the kitchen too!
Eating well is SO important when building strength and @myproteinuk helps me get those girl gains in 💪🏼
I'm really good at spending money. Probably a little TOO good. And I think that's probably something some of you can relate to!
A conversation with my boyfriend last night (hi, honey) got me thinking about my spending habits. I'll drop between $100-200 on new clothes regularly, and won't bat an eye when concert tickets are $150, etc.
So why is it that we tend to pause when it comes to investing in our health? I did it too at first. When my coach first sent me to link to sign up, I definitely made a face at the price tag. You want me to pay how much for this? Don't you understand I'm a broke grade student? How ridiculous!
And then, I did the math. I had a Planet Fitness Black Card at the time (that I was NOT using), and so that was $20 a month, plus a $40 yearly fee, for $280 a year. This new opportunity was significantly less... Okay, that was good. But if I dropped Planet Fitness, I was losing access to tanning. Well, I hadn't been in four months, tanning is bad for your skin anyways, and with this new opportunity, I was gaining access to over 700 workouts, tons of nutritious recipes and a new understanding of nutrition, a coach that would actually support me, and a team to hold me accountable which was WAY more than what I was losing by ditching the gym.
Financially, the numbers made sense. Switching to this new opportunity was going to cost me far less than what I was already paying, I just had to pay it all at once instead of monthly.
If you're hesitant about investing in your health, for any reason, I get you. I've been there. As I attempt to #adult and control my spending, one thing I will never lower my budget on is my health. I can do without cute new sweaters and shoes (as much as that pains me to say) but I will always have room in my budget for my health.
What about you? Are you ready to give up a day of shopping at the mall for a lifestyle shift towards a happier healthier you?

Find your happiness inside yourself. ⠀
If you can’t do that, then, between you and me, you are screwed 🙈
YOU need to be THE person that makes you happy. Cause if you can’t, everybody around you will suffer, trying to complete something than can just be filled from the inside ✨⠀
Sweet dreams of cotton candy and sandy beaches 😘
