(3/3) Saved my favorite for last! If I have a signature look, it's a collared shirt + sweater + mini skirt + tights. What outfit makes you feel the most yourself?! Also, this sweater is 30% off with the code Sale30 until tomorrow! If you'd like to support me as a Tradlands affiliate, the link is in my bio. 🧡 #Tradlandsx3#TradlandsWornWell#Tradlands

Sharing something embarrassing...
These bad boys.
This is what momming, bossing, working not taking enough time to breathe looks like.
Taking a time out today for some #selfcare and for getting this situation rectified. 🤦♀️
Is it possible to use the @mariekondo method in your business?! It is time to clear out some textiles! All @dittohouse textiles spark plenty of joy, but I think it is time to say thank you and goodbye to some of my old favorites and move on. And guess what(?!) we are going to have a HUGE SALE on items to be discontinued!!!! Be sure to sign up for our newsletter so you know when the sale is happening and which designs are going away, forever!!! ⠀
“Every sunrise is a gift”
My Mom felt strongly in sending us outside, she would say, “unless it is lightening or hailing the size of golf balls, you should be outside”. As a mother of three littles, I see now the many facets of this wisdom. We are all happier outside, in nature. It’s good for our psyche. Especially mine, which cycles back in to how I am with my family.
This morning, as I listened to the ice rumble and crack on the LaHave River, I realized how mindfulness is a reflex for me now. What started as a narrative for my kids as we were out to help instil a sense of wonder, and awe and hopefully a deep appreciation for our Earth, has helped me find beauty everywhere with all my senses. Because it is so restorative for me, I seek out this connection with nature and with people outside on a regular basis. ▫️
I find beauty is everywhere: the patterns, the way light plays, the sounds of nature. It is peaceful, it is invigorating, it is the small things and the vast picture. I am so grateful that I have found my way back to seeing the world with childlike awe and wonder.
Taking our skates off after a sunset pond skate the other day, I noticed that the frost on the grass was shining like crystals in the moonlight, which I pointed out with excitement. My 7 year old said with a chuckle, “oh Mom, why do you have to be so observant?” I laughed but thought to myself, it’s what nurtures my soul.
In the past, my tendency when updating a space in our house was just to look at the surface. For example, instead of focusing on what would make a big impact longterm, I might buy a new pillow or add a plant. I don’t think that type of update or refresh is a bad thing, but I think that there are better ways to invest your time and money. This year, I’m focusing on adding value throughout my home and improving the structure of the home with upgrades to the house itself (less decor - more home upgrades, basically). I love updating our house with lighting and have had great success with adding new doors and windows. Last year (or maybe two years ago) I shared our hallway and said that it was almost done! This year, I focused on getting it all the way done with the home upgrades that I was just talking about. I was able to partner with @nostalgicwarehouse to change out all the door handles and that really upgraded our hallway. Matching, high-quality door knobs combined with paint touch-ups and a few other little things… finally got our hallway to 100% finished. And that, that feels amazing! Full reveal with links to the DIY photo mats, sources, etc., are on the blog (link in bio). I want to encourage you all to look past the decor purchases and try to focus on what would be a long-term investment because you won’t tire of seeing that beautiful investment come to life, but that decor purchase… I’m sure you’ll replace that within six months.

✶ We're in beauriful, grey cloudy Paris ☁️ First thing we do anywhere we go: park! I'm still getting used to this life as a mom and travelling with a toddler, trying to conciliate my wants with her needs. I am going for some home sale shopping.
Instagram is a great place to learn about the latest, the greatest and, of course, all the good deals but the MOST important thing to remember ... ⬆️⬆️⬆️
This is SUCH a hard habit to break; at least, for me! Notoriously at places like Marshall’s and TJ Max. There can be a top I don’t even especially like, but, when I see that it WAS $39.99 and is now $7, I’m like “too good a deal to pass up” . A year later, when it’s still in my closet with that $7 tag 🤦🏻♀️ I could have bought 2 coffees with that money. Anyone else fall victim to this ? I’ve gotten so much better about this but just #keepingitreal because the #struggleisreal
After three years, two babies and lots of napping in the old carrier it basically started unraveling into nothing and i finally gave into a fresh new one. Thanks for the new pack @boba. The back carrier is a real game changer for chores and just about everything.

Eden is on this baby sister train lately. She keeps asking Adam if he wants a baby sister, which he proudly proclaims NO!
And then he continues to let everyone know.... “me! I’m the baby!” 😳
We took off our headboard and moved our bed (for the first time ever) against the window. I’ve been up a good part of the nights with a needy babe but now seeing the stars from my pillow really makes it all the better.
