May your days be filled with sunshine and your travels filled with amazing sunsets 💕
This week I have been visiting my hometown in Wisconsin (not pictured here, we don't have palm trees in WI!). ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There's a new baby in the family, so I have been enjoying watching my little sister be a mom 😍
📍Photo actually taken in Laguna Beach, California, where the best sunsets in California exist.
Have a great rest of the week everyone!
Another installment showing the power of the ocean. The waves at this beach hit a wall which creates a backwash. This then collides with an incoming wave creating an explosion of water shooting into the sky. This shot is slightly out of focus, but the colors and light were really incredible so I thought I’d share. I plan on posting mostly ocean photos for the next couple of weeks. I want to practice my wave photography. I’m inspired by accounts that focus on the textures of the water, so that is something that I hope to bring my own twist to. Does this sound like something that y’all would be interested in seeing? I appreciate your support!

Fun fact: Did you know that brows grow faster in the summer? 💁🏻♀️ My clients typically come in more often to get their brows done in the summer, the warmer weather and being more active stimulates hair growth! ✨ tag a friend who loves brows!!!

An in-depth look at one of our Luncheon chairs! Michelle is a triathlete and a multi-time Ironman finisher! Ummm... totally #womancrushwednesday -ing right now!
Michelle was first introduced to CASA in the summer of 2015 when she volunteered to help with the annual Back to School Picnic. Struck by the unique mission and powerful impact of the organization, Michelle has been actively involved with CASA ever since, doing what she can to further the organization’s efforts to improve the lives of Orange County’s foster youth.
In 2016 Michelle and her husband David – a current CASA Board member – were co-chairs of the Celebration of Children Black & White Ball, helping to raise over a million dollars for CASA. Michelle collaborated with Friends of CASA in 2017 as a member of the Holiday Luncheon silent auction committee. The Luncheon was another successful event, surpassing the prior year’s fundraising results. To Michelle, it seemed only fitting to do more for the foster youth of Orange County. This year, Michelle is excited to be working alongside her co-chair Melissa Rohani and the CASA and FOCASA teams to host the 2018 Holiday Luncheon.
Michelle is an endurance sport coach and athlete with QT2 Systems. She was formerly a vice president at PIMCO, a global asset management firm based in Newport Beach, where she was responsible for vendor management of custody operations within the funds business group.
Michelle lives in Laguna Beach with her husband David, twin teenagers Lola and Sebastian, toddler Xavier, and chocolate lab Coco.

The power of the ocean never ceases to amaze me. This was a swell that was hitting SoCal a couple of weeks ago. It was some of the bigger waves I have ever seen at this beach, where I have been bodysurfing since I was a kid. This wave in particular stood out to me because of the shape. This wave also breaks in about 2ft of water making it dangerous if you don’t know how to navigate heavy shore break. Last year a lady was swept off the rocks here and passed away. Please be safe and vigilant when near the ocean. It should not be taken lightly.
