If you train hard enough and long enough you will likely suffer some aches and pains. One of the more common injuries associated with lifting/training is patellar tendinitis. This is one of the best exercises we’ve found for addressing underlying problems that lead to patellar tendinitis.

Why are we hurting each other so much?
How can one human inflict so much of pain in other one?
BECAUSE WE CANNOT EMPATHIZE WITH ANOTHER HUMANS'S PAIN.
Abusing, raping, harassing, exploiting, corrupting, murdering, abandoning, all this is easy for a perpetrator because they do not look at another person as a fellow human being and do not connect to their pain. They consider others as objects.
Now why's that?
That's because these perpetrators have never connected with their own pain. They run away from their pain and use these harmful, immoral acts as their shield.
If we want to bring humanity back in humans we all need to connect to our pain, address it instead of running away from it.
When we numb our negative emotions we all numb our positive emotions and turn ourselves into demons, capable of doing the worst.

Finding the Motivation.
See those jeans? I wore that same pair of jeans every day for over a year because I couldn't fit into any of my other pants. This was the end of 2016, the holidays were approaching, and THANK GOD I was finally getting tired of wearing those jeans. Tired enough to do something about it.
I'd steadily gained 23 pounds due not feeling like I had the time or the energy to exercise.
I had a toddler I was still nursing, I hadn't used the bathroom alone in nearly 2 years, and I considered myself HIGHLY LUCKY if I was able to find 30 minutes in my day to shower and put on a little makeup. I felt exhausted ALL the time, and if I did have a small window of time, I took advantage of it by getting in a much needed nap. 😵 I'd often say things like "I wish I had the energy to workout" and "I just wish I could find the motivation."
Thankfully I missed the pretty clothes in my closet that I wasn't able to wear enough to force myself into action. I realized that if I didn't do something soon, the situation was going to get worse, and so would my depression and anxiety. I wanted to change more than I wanted to stay the same.
Once I joined my fitness & nutrition support community, I learned that I'd need to work out in order to have the energy to work out, ya dig? ENERGY ISN'T SOMETHING THAT HAPPENS TO YOU, IT'S SOMETHING THAT YOU CREATE.
Same with motivation. You don't find it! It's something CREATED by first establishing a solid habit. So, I'd have to work out consistently for at least a month before I'd taste the fruit of the motivation tree. 🍎
Two years ago my community helped me to establish that habit, thereby creating the energy and the motivation to keep going. I finally found the balance I needed, and I'm in the best shape of my 43 years of life. Body, mind AND spirit. ✨

I'm living for the weekend...but I don't want to..
Busy. That just about sums up my LIFE.
Determined. That just about sums up ME.
Goals. That just about sums up WHY.
I have always lead my life according to my goals...I always knew my path and I did everything to get to my finish line. And I did. And I was SO freaking proud! But it wasn't quite what I imagined. And I quickly realized I have spent my life so seriously & never really living.
I have always lived for the weekend...and for the longest time even that has been stripped away from me...again, keeping busy. Conforming to societal expectations of what it takes to be successful.
But I don't want to live for the weekend anymore....and sometimes not even get it once I'm there. I wanna live EVERY.DAMN.DAY! I want to love what I do for the rest of my freaking life!
This past June I took a leap of faith and joined a fitness business I had some SERIOUS doubts about! I was probably their #1 skeptic & so uncomfortable with the idea.
But I took the leap of faith because I started living with the notion....what have I got to lose? I ask myself that question now with every new opportunity that comes my way. I knew if I didn't jump, my life would remain stagnant. I knew I would always wonder WHAT IF!? I would never really feel fulfilled...I would never really live!
In a world of opportunity, why do we choose to remain stagnant in a position where we aren't truly happy? I think its out of fear...fear of the unknown & uncertainty we have in ourselves to do something outside of what society deems right and be AMAZING at it!
No path will be easy but I choose to not settle. I choose to give myself the best shot at living my best life. I'm thankful for leaping!
