Watching my body change has been interesting especially with trying to maintain the growth of fibroids! This week I tried to pull on a pair of leggings and found them snug AF! I’ve not kept tabs on how much weight I’ve put on as I didn’t see that as an important factor. I’ve eaten like I usually do (remember I love food) and kept active so I’m not to worried about my postpartum body!
One thing I really am looking forward to is being able to forward bend so I can put on my own damn shoes.
Photo taken at 40 weeks and even as I write that number I’m smiling! I’m still feeling very chilled especially after all the positive comments from last weeks post on induction. Knowing that the average first baby arrives around 10 days late is comforting. I never had any expectation of the baby coming on it’s EDD so that has really helped me keep relaxed.
Anyways I hope you all have a fab Tuesday, I’m going to spend mine doing admin and watching movies any suggestions?

Physical changes, mental changes, life changes.

The one constant? Music ❤
🎵 Never sigh for better world
It’s already composed, played and told
Every thought the music I write
Everything a wish for the night...

Food time. I love food more then anything I think. There are tons of variantions and U can mix a lot of things. One of my favorite things to eat is quark or yoghurt with fruit and some cinnamon. I put some chocolate sprinkles on this bowl because I had chocolate cravings 😍

THINGS I DO TO HELP MY MENTAL HEALTH 🌱💭 ☀️DAYLIGHT: the first thing I do when I wake up is open my blinds. Every single one. I have to have light streaming in from all angles, it’s literally like the sun washes away my negative thoughts. 💨 FRESH AIR: along with opening blinds, I always have a window open, cycling out the stale air in my room. This is usually when I sit for about 30secs-1min and take some really deep breaths & do my affirmations for the day. 🗑 CLEAN: having a tidy house makes a world of difference for my anxiousness. Being tidy helps me feel less overwhelmed and gives me the physical space to complete other goals for the day. 🧘🏽♀️EXCERCISE: I don’t do a lot of it, I’m definitely not super fit (or even fit) but I try and do some kind of intentional physical activity 2-3 times a week. This is usually a mixture of the gym, a yoga class or even just a 2-3km walk. 🥑 EATING: again, I am SO FAR from any kind of diet there is (I hate the word diet anyway). But I always eat 3 normal, balanced meals a day. Being balanced helps me to remove any food-based guilt and helps me shut down any reoccurring ED thoughts I sometimes still battle. 🏠 LEAVE THE HOUSE: one of the biggest triggers for my anxiousness & poor mental health is being unproductive. If I don’t leave the house I become emotional, anxious, & negative. Even when I have nowhere to go, I usually take a book to the park or library, or chuck in my headphones and go for a walk. This has been the biggest lessons I’ve learnt about my self-care this
💖 INTIMACY: again this won’t be for everyone but I try to be intimate with my partner in some way every day. This can be mind blowing sex, a massage, an intense hug, holding hands, even a good pash. For me it’s a rebalancing of the physical connection between us, and helps me resolve any negative self-talk about my desire or worthiness. 👯♀️ SOCIAL: I literally try to see a friend almost every day. And to be fair, it can tire me out sometimes but maintaining connections with my pals helps me to feel less isolated. #terrawithtahlia

I am feeling SOOO good lately! I have never lasted more than a couple days on a diet but this @21daymealplan is a completely different experience. I’m on day 12 & it hasn’t felt like work at all! I’m not expected to buy any special pills, wraps or shakes. I bought the plan & now my entire lifestyle is changing. 🙌🏻 I am so thankful for the #21daymealplanbabes as well for all the positivity and support I’ve been getting since starting! I’ll never go back to the old ways, this is changing my life for the better. 💕

The last time I was here, I was over 300lbs. It’s weird to fit so easily on the rides now. I still feel inclined to insist I ride by myself out of habit just for extra comfort and room, even though I don’t need it. #mindfuck
