I got to meet this wonderful soul in Singapore. Isn’t it crazy how social media allows you to connect with people all over the 🌎! Have you ever met any of your IG friends in person? ⚪️⚪️⚪️⚪️
PS. She is beautiful and super sweet!! In addition it’s her bday weekend so swing by and wish her a happy birthday 🎂 @amtravelstheworld
We are travelers on a cosmic journey, stardust, swirling and dancing in the eddies and whirlpools of infinity. Life is eternal. We have stopped for a moment to encounter each other, to meet, to love, to share. This is a precious moment. It is a little parenthesis in eternity

The 18th & Vine district is this magical area in Kansas City, Missouri that’s internationally recognized for the celebration of jazz music, African-American culture, and black owned businesses. I wish I had more time to go into every business and try the soul food restaurant 😋 but I didn’t have much time. I was lucky enough to have these three amazing and very dapper cool cats call me Queen and give me the best tour of the area I could have asked for lol. .
The “Bird Lives” statue was created to recognize one of the most influential performers of jazz music. Charlie “Bird” Parker was a saxophonist known for playing the Missouri jazz night club scene and creating bebop. His legend continues to live on throughout the district. .
The Blue Room is a Jazz nightclub that had the most chill atmosphere ever and some amazing jazz bands! They were celebrating women in Jazz when I visited and those ladies were up there killin it! 🎷🎺👑They typically showcase all kinds talented local and non local jazz artists. They even have a Latin Jazz and salsa night! Y’all know I love salsa 💃🏽😂
Kansas City was filled with a lot of love and this completely SOLO traveler made more connections than I could count. I wish I had more than two days because I only scratched the surface of all the city has to offer! I hope to come back soon... maybe for a future occupational therapy travel assignment 😉.

The first time I met my twin Tracy Pepper, after being pen pals for years. Her daughter Emily had childhood cancer (I also have a niece named Emily Pepper) and her youngest daughter and I share the same birthday. So many weird coincidences... so when I was in San Francisco last year she drove up to see me. We had the best day ever. We met these very cool dudes who had ridden their Harleys from Chicago just to go across the Golden Gate Bridge. I was just telling Tracy how easy it is to talk to strangers when she unknowingly photobombed their photo... so then I purposely photobombed all of their photos... and we chatted and found out each other's stories. It was one of those awesome days that you can't plan. This is what I LOVE about traveling. #lifeofatraveler#goldengatebridge#twins#travel#getoutofyourcomfortzone#sanfrancisco#livinglife#pendotravel
No hay como la libertad de ser, de estar, de ir, de amar, de hacer, de andar así sin penas.
Quien se sabe esta letra? —
There nothing like freedom to be, to come, to go, to love, to do, to say, to walk without shame. 🙌
"Instead of the joy and expectation of time left on holiday, she felt the dread of numbered days, and even though she missed her family greatly, she knew that THESE people would never be together again, like this... At the edge of the world."
