One year ago 💙 11|20|17. I miss my tail. 😇 I’m grateful for the memories and thankful for the 12,000+ photos on my phone 😂 because most of them are of my pups. 🐾 Going through them and trying to delete some. This might take a few days...weeks. Thanksgiving holiday goal. Also, I need🍷 #lifeofftheleash#lifeisbetterwithdogs#memories#2018wasruff
Its 28° and the pup just wants to guard the house. And I stand on the inside of the house waiting for her to want to come back inside 🤦🏻♀️💛🐺

“Of two sisters one is always the watcher, one the dancer.” – Louise Glück
These girls. They battle it out by day but then night comes around and they are full of nothing but love.
Maggie, the shepherd, is my dancer. She’s only 2 and still so full of puppy energy. Shayla, the blonde, is 7 and we got Maggie to help her be more active and boy did it work. She is for sure the watcher in many situations, often waiting to see what Maggie has planned for the day before participating in the mischief.
Sometimes I worry that this was too much for Shayla and that Maggie’s energy is wearing her down. But then I’ll see her grin and start playing games with her sister or they’ll snuggle up next to me on the couch. Maggie acts like a big huge protective dog, but always uses Shayla as a gauge to decide whether to be alert or excited.
These sisters make my heart happy every day and I’m so glad they’ve finally settled into loving each other.
November is #AdoptASenior Pet Month. In honor, we made a special visit to @RustysAngelsSanctuary to deliver some #Primalvore#BoneBroth and get some senior dog loving!
Have you ever considered adopting a senior pet? Emilee, founder of Rusty’s tells us why adding a senior pet to your family can be the most rewarding experience and something everyone should do at least once in their lifetime! Click the link in our profile to read Emilee’s message.
Thank you Sammy for sharing your story and showing people that a little love goes a long way in helping dogs live their best life. 😘 #Repost@cinnamon_the_chiweenie with @get_repost

This is my story for a chance to win a $50 donation to my favorite animal charity. Thank you @2huskymutts#pawleysadoptiontales2018 for giving me this opportunity. .
I was surrendered twice. The first time, I was dropped off at the county shelter because my human was moving and couldn’t find anyone to watch me and my brother while she moved. I was immediately adopted, only to be surrendered back to the shelter less than 2 weeks later.
I had no understanding why I kept ending up back there. I was very scared according to my intake papers. Then, one day @mefm10 shared my photo on Instagram and a whole new world opened up for me. I was bailed out of the slammer once again, but this time with a promise that I was never going back. .
I was not easy to deal with in those early days, and my new family had a lot to learn about reactive dogs. I learned how to wear a muzzle, which is no easy task. I now wear it anytime I might be in situations where I may not be a good boy. Mom says I’ve come a long way, and I’m still making progress. Yay for me..... I won the dog lottery! .
I’m tagging a few friends who may want to share their adoption stories. ~ Sammy .
