‘I just need to make $$xxx and then I can invest in xxx’.
‘I just need to lose xxkg, then I can go to the gym.’
‘I just need to have a couple more years experience, then I can apply for that role.’
...... Have you ever had any of those thoughts before? I bet you did because I surely did too! And sometimes still have until I question myself what really the issue is that is behind me coming up with all excuses under the sun to not do something.
Anything new is scary and anything new can be daunting. However, it’s also everything new that forces us to stretch, grow and become better.
None of the roles I applied for I was ready for. They were all way more senior than the roles I were in. But guess what- you learn if you are committed to wanting to know and grow and you find ways to make it work.
🤔 Not enough money to invest into whatever it is that you know will help you to get to the next level you really want to be at?
➡️ You’ll find a way to make the extra income.
🤔 Not enough time to go to the gym?
➡️ Check your day and review closely- how much time do you spend watching TV, scrolling on social or mindless wasting time on things that may be a short term pleasure but doesn’t do anything for your long term goal?
Ready is a lie and so is everything else that we come up to justify why we don’t do it although we know it’s what it takes to get us where we wan to be.
It’s a new week and it’s a new opportunity to be ready before you’re and becoming the person you want to be!
Homework, housework, and a headache trying to grow into a migraine have kept me on the couch for much of the day.
Thankfully, three cups of herbal tea later, some help from DoTerra, and Aldi delivering my groceries, this day didn't turn out to be as bad as it could have. •
I hope you all have a had a restful Sunday!

I am ALWAYS making moves... whether I’m seeing clients, at the gym, visiting family out of town, or just running errands and living life at home; I lead a very active lifestyle and I am always on-the-go....
Since I’m not really around home that much, it’s important for me to bring my fuel with me when I’m outside of the home (I don’t eat out at restaurants or anything like that).... .
What I do is actually very simple and convenient— I simply pack a glass container with whole, plant based foods, which will give me a healthy balance of GLUCOSE|SODIUM|POTASSIUM ... and away I go!
Not only am I being mindful of my liver by making these choices in the fuel which I consume, but I’m also nurturing my adrenal glands as well... keep in mind, you don’t need to eat a lot of food, just a handful or two of productive foods (as seen here)
“Grazing is critical to healing. If your blood sugar drops and your liver’s glucose reserves are low to nonexistent (like most people’s are) your adrenals are going to be forced to produce excess adrenaline to compensate—corrosive adrenaline that wears out your adrenals and strains your liver and nervous system.” Anthony William @medicalmedium 💚SPIRIT💚
This type of lifestyle takes a little extra time on my part—a little pre-planning is involved... but it’s SOOOO worth it to know that I am giving my body the best food for fuel, as consciously possible, while being very mindful of the rest of my organs and body systems!
Make conscious choices and decisions today, that your FUTURE SELF will thank you for!! 🙌🏼🤩

Hopped over to East Portlemouth by ferry and a lovely walk to Sunny Cove. Had a cheeky honeycomb ice cream although we got busted 😂 by hubby who came to meet us! The others kayaked across the estuary for another scorcher of a day 😎 on the 🏖 which was packed! The views of Salcombe from there are stunning! The photos don’t do them justice. The water was even colder but SO refreshing considering we were literally frying in the blazing 🥵 🌞. My eldest spent the day in her wetsuit and is now desperately trying to get rid of her hilarious tan lines. Thank gawd for Tropic Aftersun! We all needed it yesterday, my panda 🐼 👁 look is beyond repair though unfortunately 😂🙈 However the amount of sun worshipers slapping on sun lotion that contains oxybenzone was alarming 😳 though, can we not all do our bit for our oceans? Tropic suncare is FREE from oxybenzone which kills the fish 🐟 and coral!!! Mexico 🇲🇽 and Hawaii have banned it already, NZ and Oz by 2020. There’s FREE bank holiday delivery 🚚 this weekend on all online orders, which you can order at www.samanthahardingham.com Have you read the ingredients for your sun care brand and checked it for oxybenzone yet? You can @thinkdirty which is a FREE app, rating your beauty products for chemicals. OK, I hear ya Eco warrior rant over🙈....once we cooled down we finished the evening with the hedge doubling up as a Blackjack table in the garden... 😜👌 #saveourseas#greenbeauty#naturalsunscreen#salcombe#ecowarrior#instamums#eastportlemouth#familyholidays#beachlife#wildswimming#seaswimming#leadbyexample#readtheingredients#timeforchange#saveourplanet

“Hasbro, the US-based manufacturer of popular toy lines like Littlest Pet Shop, Marvel, and other Disney-branded products, announced Tuesday that it will start phasing out plastic packaging from its new products and aims to stop using the packaging material entirely by 2022.
Redesigning the company’s decades-old packaging was “a complex undertaking,” said chief operating officer John Frascotti in a press release. The new packaging will differ according to the product’s design and feasibility, a Hasbro spokesperson told Vox. Some toys would be unpackaged or wrapped in paper instead of plastic.
But many of Hasbro’s toys and games, like the popular Transformers action figures and Mr. Potato Heads, will still be made from plastic — at least for the foreseeable future. The company said it is “actively exploring” alternate materials for its future products.” @voxdotcom

You can decide how to react to something someone does to you - that's why you have all the power in your own mind. If someone says something bad to you, you have a choice to become angry, sad or ignore it, because you understand that this thing is not about you, but it is about them.
“Nepal is banning single-use plastic on and around Mount Everest in a bid to cut down on the region's trash problem.
Nepalese authorities said they will ban plastic soft drink bottles and single-use plastics under 30 microns thick (0.0012 inches, or 0.03 millimeter) in the Khumbu region, which is home to Everest. The ban will prevent hikers from bringing the plastic goods in -- and stop shops from selling them.” @cnn
The rules won't come into effect until January next year, and won't apply to plastic water bottles, said Ganesh Ghimire, the chief administrative officer of Khumbu Pasang Lhamu rural municipality.

Real influence and leadership starts with one principle: delivering value.
This leads to creating connection.
It fosters mutual respect.
And above all else - focuses on “giving” over getting.
Lead with the intent to leave every person you meet BETTER than before you met.
“The Florida Aquarium in Tampa, Florida, says they've made scientific history as a group of coral has successfully reproduced two days in a row for the first time in a lab setting.
The successful result is part of what the aquarium calls "Project Coral" -- a program designed in part with the goal of ultimately repopulating the Florida Reef Tract. The project works in partnership with London's Horniman Museum and Gardens to create coral spawn, or large egg deposits, in a lab.
According to the aquarium, the coral greenhouses use advanced LED technology and computer-control systems to mimic the natural environment of the coral to subtly signal the corals to reproduce.” @cnn

“A major report on land use and climate change says the West's high consumption of meat and dairy produce is fuelling global warming.
But scientists and officials stopped short of explicitly calling on everyone to become vegan or vegetarian.
They said that more people could be fed using less land if individuals cut down on eating meat. "We're not telling people to stop eating meat. In some places people have no other choice. But it's obvious that in the West we're eating far too much," said Prof Pete Smith, an environmental scientist from Aberdeen University, UK.
We're also wasting too much food. The panel estimates that greenhouse emissions associated with food loss and waste - from field to kitchen bin - is as high as 8-10% of ALL global emissions.” @bbcnews

“Those small spheres, sometimes known as “nurdles,” are a massive source of plastic pollution, escaping into the environment before they have a chance to be molded into a useful shape. With roughly 22,000 nurdles per pound of plastic, the Shell plant intends to produce the rough equivalent of 80 trillion nurdles per year.
Very little research exists to quantify how many of these pre-production pellets end up in the environment. Available estimates tend to be locally isolated; one recent study found that production facilities in the UK lose between 5 billion and 35 billion pellets a year, for example. In 2017, two shipping vessels collided, spilling 49 metric tons of pellets into the sea and coating 2,000 kilometers (1,243 miles) of South Africa’s coastline with nurdles.”
