👌TIP -REVERSING A CARAVAN OR TRAILER 👌 ✅ Left side up = caravan pushes to the left ✅ Right side up = caravan pushes to the right
✅Turn the wheel to the mirror you want the caravan to disappear from.

I think water fall is a bit of a stretch, water drizzle maybe? It’s not about the quantity though, it’s the quality and it was delicious...and really really cold...and apparently inhabited by a fresh water croc! He left us to it though and we had a great morning at Emma Gorge. A nice steady trek in and a little oasis waiting for us at the end! 🌈 #emmagorge#elquestrowildernesspark#travelaustraliawithkids#caravanningaustralia#lapofoz
How cool is this free camp on the Babinda Creek! Free toilets, $2 showers for 4 minuets or cold for free, dump point , water, fresh local fruit and veg produce that comes around every afternoon right on the back of a Ute.You can swim or kayak the creek if your interested in that or simply just enjoy the scenery!! Top place for a night or 2!! #travelaustralia#travelingwithkids#aussiekids#lapofoz#whynotus
There are RV-friendly towns and then there's Julia Creek, in @outbackqueensland. I've long believed in spending money in small towns that make an effort for tourists and this place does. The McKinley Shire Council has provided a large free camp with cruiser bicycles that travellers can ride into town. We did just that, stopping first at the volunteer-run @qcwa1922 hall for scones, then the local butcher and finally the newsagent. On a long, dusty 1550+km drive, it's a welcome stop.🐂🐑🌾
So after a total of ten days the Farrant's say farewell to beautiful Broome. What an incredible time we have had from camel rides, whale watching and the crocodile farm to outdoor movies, the rodeo, amazing sunsets on the beach and so much more. But the best thing of all has been meeting some great other travelling families and making new lifelong friends. Goodbye Broome we hope to see you again 🌞🌊😥😘
🌴If I had a dollar for every time I said 'I can't believe this is our life now'... I'd fund travelling Australia for the rest of our lives. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Never in a million years did I think we would be doing this. It was so easy to talk about the 'one days' or 'imagine if'. But once we made the commitment to make it happen, it seemed so simple and now I wonder why we didn't do it sooner!
Brad here! (For once) One thing I knew I wanted to do while on this trip was to live off the land as much as we could. We went searching for Oysters and I had my very first Oysters Kilpatrick. They tasted good!
From natural waterholes to famous man-made ones, this is Daly Waters Pub, where it appears only big-breasted women have freed their nipples. There's not a little lacy bralette in sight.😅 Adorned with all sorts of paraphernalia and staffed by European backpackers, this place is a must-stop on any NT itinerary.
As you know we are preparing for trip (Jan 2019). Which means some maintenance at home before we leave. We will be renting the house out so finally we are getting those jobs done that have just been put off. Craig and Nash were digging a soakage trench today.
Camels on Cable Beach at sunset. There are a million photos just like it, but this one is ours. 🐪 🐪 🐪 We just about needed the camel train to pull us out of town, one of the top 5 best places in Australia we have been, so sad to leave. 🌅✌️

Wake up early and arrive to your camp spot around 9-10am because then everyone has already left, you beat the traffic, AND get the best camp spots EVER! We got an incredible spot at Somerset Beach free camp. Right on the water and surrounded by coconut palms. 😍🌴 PS Our tour of our camper is now LIVE on YouTube! Link in bio, go check it out!
We met up with @kieranz_photoz & @leeannraftery at the tip after we had to leave them and race to Cairns for a new tow bar. So while they went to walk to the top, we made this EPIC firepit! It was huge, and we burned sooo many dead trees lying around! Perfect way to celebrate this epic milestone!
Not everyday is stress free when you’re living life on the road in a small home on wheels 🚐 But at the moment, there really is nothing to be stressed about! 🌴🌊
There’s camping by the beach and there’s camping on the beach 🌴 If you need us over the next few days, we’ll be chilling here with Mazzy, the beanbags, our hammock, a good book and a few bottles of wine 🇦🇺🚐🌴☀️🌅
We worked out we had a total of 3 hot showers in the last month, but swimming holes like this make up for it 👌 ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The last 3.5months has really taught and given me a chance to sloooow down, allowing me to free my thoughts, think clearer, understand what is really important to me and stop doing irrelevant things in a bid to be 'successful' or seem 'busy'. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It's amazing what happens when you get out of your normal surroundings and turn your life upside down 🙃
🐚Literally 4 months to the day after crossing into Western Australia, we jumped out of WA, and into the NT! 📸Our ability to take a photo with the state signs has clearly not improved a bit. But we loved every minute of our time in WA, our hearts are leaving a little fuller, and our minds so much more aware of the vast and diverse nature of this beautiful country. WA literally has it all, we will treasure the adventures, memories and friendships we made in this great state and look forward to the adventure that the Northern Territory will no doubt bring us. Bring it on 🐊

Here’s a little update on what life is looking like for us at the moment. Spending our days on palm tree lined beaches and finding fallen coconuts on the ground 🌴🌴🌴 @tropicalnorthqueensland has been pretty spectacular so far and it’s been SO nice chilling out for a while after our long days of driving getting over from the Northern Territory.
Still loving the van life and taking our little home to amazing places 🚐
