You collect experiences when you travel. This was one such great experience - taking the cable car to get to another island. What made it more exhilarating was the clear glass bottom.
You can see the water, the trees and the civilization passing under your feet.
Sky-land-Sea is what it's called
In 2008 I fell in love for the first time. Deeply, madly, deliciously, decadently innamorato with fresh mozzarella! Italian cuisine often talks about the power of 3. The magic number - 3 ingredients which compliment each other perfectly. No need to play with the flavours. Simply allow for that beautiful marriage...and enjoy!
Fast forward 11 years...
I find myself sitting at an Italian restaurant in Hong Kong and there on the menu is burrata - fresh mozzarella stuffed with creamy mascarpone, with tomato and basil. Suddenly I am transported back to a farm in South Italy where I stayed learning to make mozzarella; or the countless times across that wonderful country when I am sitting with friends, surrounded by the bounty that is offered. There is the joy and simplicity of sharing and the taking pleasure in what we have. Pure relationship. It is never absent. But I guess sometimes we need to be reminded. And to allow ourselves to let go and enjoy what is given. Like, love and lust - a perfect 3! #mozzarella#italianfood#hongkong#lantauisland#love#marriage#3#travelblogger#travelphotography#foodphotography#ilbelpaese#ilbelpaesehk#heartofyoga#likelovelust#3some#foodporn#beautifulmemory#travelling
